Super chic and friendly atmosphere. You feel incredibly welcome from the moment you walk through the door. I usually see Leslie, but the whole staff is incredibly talented and knowledgable, they offer water and tea and its such a neat place. They have so many services, including nails, so you can get a manicure while you wait for your dye to set!

Terrible experience with Cara Olson! She did a horrible job and also was very unprofessional and rude to me. I came and asked to have my roots dyed and the rest of the hair toned so it all matches. We looked at the hair samples, agreed on the dye colours, and she started. What I didn’t know is that she – without telling me – thought it would a great idea to do stripes in my hair and colour some pieces orange and some yellow. I looked like a skunk when the dye was washed off! I didn’t see that she was doing it because she started with the back sections and once I saw it and mentioned it, she said that she knows what she is doing because she’d been using Kevin Murphy products for 8 years and it will be beautiful at the end. Well, it was not! It didn’t add “dimension” or “life”, it looked like a zebra pattern! She didn’t like the result when she saw it, did not apologize, but said she was going to fix it. She mixed something new a bowl, I asked what it was and she said “you wouldn’t understand even if I explained”. How rude is that! She then did a blech wash (damaging for the hair!) and dyed it with a different brand dye (Schwarzkopf). So, my hair was dyed twice and bleach-washed once, all with the same level developer. And because I had stripes everywhere in my hair after the first dye job, she had to bleach and re-dye it everywhere, not just on the roots, which is all very damaging. Again, no apology! And after all the trouble, my hair still looks poor because it has large, unblended chunks of darker colour (see the photo). Regardless, Cara charged me full price (222.70$) and also was very pushy trying to sell me her curling iron. All while being snarky and unprofessional!

I got a baliyage w Cara, she's very easy to talk to and someone who has lots of experience w colouring. She gave me great suggestions and helped me pic the colours I like. The first time the colour didn't come out quite right then she worked with the hair again, did her magic and made the colour the way we discussed. Love her passion for her work, she's very profession. Would highly recommend her!

We arrived ten minutes late, but we were still able to get a stylist. Angel was very sweet and nice. They offer tea, coffee and water, and the whole place just feels welcoming.

I was in the other day and I can't say enough good things about it. Jessica cut my hair and she was awesome. I really appreciated her. Everything was clean and they got me in promptly. Parking wasn't the easiest but I was also in during rush hour. I would highly recommend Jessica and Berns and Black.
