Loved this place for the year I lived here! Elena is a very gentle woman and willing to offer suggestions. She was the first hairstylist to actually cut my hair as short as I asked (after trying with a few hairstylists). She is probably the most accurate haircutter I have ever had (precision cutting, and also cutting exactly the length requested). She checks in to make sure the length is just right and that everything is how I want. I felt comfortable talking to her. It was also nice because there wasn't pressure to talk throughout the whole appointment, and I was able to relax in silence and enjoy the haircut as well. She prefers to know lengths in centimetres rather than inches, so it's good to know that before your appointment. Complimentary bangs trims are a bonus, as she doesn't like to fix my amateur trims. :) I also went for waxing one time with Elena and it was a good experience.

Elena was kind enough to rock my screaming baby to sleep while I got a much needed and beautiful haircut by Saran. Wow! Where else would that have happened? Thank you ladies for a splendid afternoon. Also, Saran didn’t just wash my hair, but massages my head too. Mmmm, relaxation.

So sad that Elena has closed Lime and Pine to relocate out of province. This was a beautiful and very professional salon. Hopefully it will re-open with new owners. All the best to Elena in Ontario.

Elena is a very qualified and talented hairdresser, with a great eye for colour and shape. She has been doing amazing job for my hair for almost 5 years and I wouldn't want to go to any other. Lime n Pine is highly recommended!
