Envy Hair Salon

I am a long time client at Envy and have always been happy with the atmosphere and service until today. Let me explain. Back in March/April I had to cancel a couple of appointments because I had the flu/pneumonia. When I canceled the second time I told the receptionist I would reschedule when I was well again. Today on my way home from the Dr. (who just gave me a clean bill of health) I stopped into the salon to make an appointment. At the time the receptionist asked for a $50 security deposit. I’ve never heard of such a thing and told her I was a long time client and didn’t think it was applicable to me. There was a stylist present who stated that she believed that policy was for new clients, so my appointment was made and I left. Shortly thereafter I received a call from the salon manager informing me that the security deposit was required as I had been delinquent with frequent cancellations and that the deposit was required to ensure I would not miss my next appointment. What?! Nothing could be further from the truth! Yes I canceled my last two appointments, but with proper notice. I believe I may have canceled an appointment a year ago when my FATHER DIED, again with ample notice. But to be spoken to and treated like I’m some sort of delinquent that needs to be reigned in and taught a lesson is deplorable. I’ve never been so humiliated in my life! What about all the appointments over the last 5-6 years that I HAVEN’T missed? Three-four times a year at $250 a sitting! This is how you treat your LOYAL customers? And who gets that $50 if the appointment is missed? I’m certain it’s not the stylist. Cale is the BEST stylist I have ever had, he really understands my needs, is thorough and takes pride in his work. It saddens me that he will no longer be my stylist but after the way I was demeaned by your manager today I will never visit your establishment again. I certainly won’t recommend it to anyone and will make sure your ridiculous policies and contemptuous treatment of your clients are known. Good luck with that.

Amy has been doing my hair for 10 years, she is amazing!! Alison has done my hair while Amy is on Maternity leave and I'm very happy with her too!! Hats off to both of you. I recommend all of my friends to Envy hair salon. Everyone there is fantastic!!

I am so happy that I found Envy Hair Salon. I had the same stylist for 20 years until he died suddenly. I was on a quest to find someone who would create a suitable style for my face and right cut for my hair type. Thankfully, I was told about Envy. I had two cuts there and weeks later my hair kept on falling on the right places. It is worth a drive from Oakville!

Another great visit! Cale is awesome and knows exactly what to do with my hair. This salon offers great service and have the best staff. Always feel welcome when I come here!

Cale worked miracles on my lifeless, dull hair. I went in a pale, brittle, matte blonde and came out shining, soft, and a beautiful dusty rose with so many beautiful tones blended expertly together. It was my first time at Envy, and will not be my last. I think I just found my forever salon. Highly recommend.
