Consider this for your next birthday party! We just recently held a celebration for our child's birthday at Yongho Hapkido Martial Arts Academy. It was our first time there, but felt comfortable from the moment we walked in. The space is bright, clean and welcoming. The booking process is easy and the owner, Diane, is such a pleasure to deal with. She really makes it fun, but educational also, for the kids in that 2-hour party time. The cost is reasonable and includes pizza and drinks for the kids. We ended up bringing our own food in as well, which was handy for providing snacks for the parents who stayed and watched. There is a table set-up to place your food and drinks on, a table for the guests to eat at, and a separate table for the cake. Plenty of space. Lots of activity and moving around to music with balloons at the end. And let's not forget one of the key highlights for the birthday boy/girl: cake-cutting with a real sword! We are so glad that we booked our party at the dojang (studio) - it was two hours of fun in a safe and clean environment! Great location with lots of parking. Parents of guests can stay or leave. Clean-up after was a breeze. I would highly recommend booking with Diane if you want to do something a little different the next time you plan a birthday party. Lots of fun!

The Yongho Hapkido also offers women only fitness classes 6 times a week. I recently joined and have found them extremely effective. Positive atmosphere and challenging routines help you to push yourself but yet keeping it in a friendly environment. Perfect for women who are trying to fit excersise in their busy lives. This workout incorporates excersise that benefit your entire body. Very holistic!

I am extremely satisfied with Kang Ho Hapkido and would highly recommend this school to all ages. My son has been at Kang Ho Hapkido for over 2 years and it has been the one constant sporting activity that he continues to enjoy. Owner and instructors are fantastic. It's a lot more than learning how to kick and defend yourself. They improve values that we support in our home; being respectful of themselves and others, being positive and responsible for yourself and not only sympathetic, but empathetic of others. When my son leave his session, not only he had a great physical workout, but also his attention and level of focus is improved. Professional instructors are there to help my son succeed. I would definitely recommend Kang Ho Hapkido to anyone who wants to increase his confidence, self-discipline, and the skills to protect themselves. It's a positive place where you feel at home.

I've been in this Hapkido for awhile, and gotta admit, they are really good at teaching and very passionate about people learning. It is very safe to learn such as for self defense and has its own unique style such as pattern. I would definitely go here if anyone wants to know more about martial arts

The two years I've trained at this dojang was honestly one of the greatest decisions I made. The instructors are exceptional and highly qualified, and the skills taught here go past the realm of just physical ones, allowing people to become true martial artists. This is one of the few internationally recognized, Korea Hapkido Federation-approved dojangs. The facility is extremely hygienic, and programs are well-organized for all different skill levels and ages. Would highly recommend.
