Master Shon and his staff are all great with the kids. Very positive, fun environment for the children to learn positive life skills, all the while teaching them discipline and self control.

My family appreciates Master Shon's Black Belt USA and all staff. The staff is patient and works with a student to ensure understanding of techniques before passing onto the next belt. My 13 year old son received his black belt a few years ago and still enjoys it today. It has taught him discipline, respect and self confidence. After he received his belt my husband and I joined and have been a part of Master Shon's Black Belt family for about two years. I encourage everyone to come and see what Master Shon's Black Belt USA is all about.

We enrolled our 6 year old son in April 2013 to help him with his reading. Within 8 months he was able to reach his green belt. The schedule and locations are very convenient, with lots of options. The instructors are all highly skilled and interested in making sure every child understands the concepts of the moves. I really like that they are very honest with the students. Instead of saying good job to every student they recognize the effort behind learning these new techniques and provide constructive tips about how to improve the next time. We have seen a transformation in our son where he has these specific goals and a huge increase in his personal confidence. Master Shon in particular has a real gift for teaching. I highly recommend Master Shon's Black Belt Academy.

Master Shon's Black Belt USA is a great martial arts school. Not only is Master Shon & staff wonderful. You can also see the positive impact in our students from daily classes to training improvements. I see the students everyday and from first hand experience - can see the drastic changes in a student's focus, confidence, and self-discipline from when they first started, to where they have come so far, and looking forward to where they are heading in their success! Not only from an observer but also from a family member who has brought her nephew to class since White Belt to Black Belt. This program is also great for those that have Special Needs or Learning Differences.

There are many places where you can take you child, spend your money and hope for the best. At Master Shon's, we feel our child is in good hands, and it all flows from Master Shon. He is intense, driven, strict and tough, but also calm, congenial and concerned for your child's ability to deal with life. He will work harder than you in developing skills that are hard to teach. Our daughter has been attending Master Shon's academy for almost four years now, She will enter middle school next year and I feel that Master Shon has helped her to be ready to succeed at whatever she decides to tackle.
