I trained at Bae's when I was young with my brother. My younger sister joined later when she was old enough as well. Malcom is tough but he taught me martial arts skills and so much more. I cannot say one thing about Bae's which disappoints. My body still has memory of all of what I learned and I still have strength because of it. Both physically and mentally. You have to be willing to work or this is not the place for you. I took my son and he wasn't ready. I took him to another place and I had to pull him because I couldn't watch my son think he was truly learning martial arts. (It was kids playing games and only one instructor who truly was a black belt-although they have a 5 star rating???) If you want to learn all the skills and life lessons Bae's has to offer? Then Bae's is the place to go. The structure they have is excellent. They allow you to go whenever and as often as you like. The cost is reasonable in comparison to what I've seen and how often you can attend. The instructors do what they expect from their students. The higher belts work with the lower belts. They challenge you which gains confidence for the lower belts and promotes leadership for the higher belts. This truly is a 5 star place. No gimmicks or saying what you want to hear like other places I've seen that have really disappointed me. If my son decides to try martial arts again? It will be at Bae's because I so strongly believe in what and how they teach.

Our son's have been training at Bae's Martial Arts Training Centre close to 2 years. I can't say enough about the instructors and the higher ranking belts. The martial arts training they have learned has helped our children achieve confidence very quickly which they apply to their scholastic and extra curricular activities. Bot our sons are competitive soccer and baseball players and are at the top of their game. I would refer any parent to at least visit the centre and learn more about it.

I purchased a Groupon to try out the Women's Tae-Box class. The class itself was a great workout and I was pleased. But at the end of my first class the instructor, Malcom Edwards, told me I needed to buy a shirt and gloves in order to take the class again. He charged me more for the shirt than what I paid for the Groupon. I was taken aback as this was not advertised on the Groupon or his website, and not being in the right mind, I purchased the shirt. Two days later, when I tried to return the shirt that I had not washed or even worn, he would not give me my money back. I can understand needing to purchase the gloves and maybe even the shirt if I intended on buying a membership with him, but I was just testing out the class. There is no reason that I cannot wear my own clothes in order to do that class. When I argued this to him he said that it is a "uniform" (but it's actually a generic Fruit of the Loom t-shirt with a small black logo on the upper left corner that probably costs him $5 to produce but charges $31 for it), yet only one or two of the 12 or so women were wearing the shirt. Most importantly, if this is a requirement for him it needs to be properly advertised. I would have been willing to spend more money on his business had he given me a better experience. Customer service is everything and this man has none of it, if he's willing to send away potential business over $31. It's the principle behind how he handles his business that makes me never want to deal with him again.
