When I first joined I was 7 years old and I thought it was horrible, but once I tried it I started to like it! I became more confident and I wasn't as shy as I was at the beginning. It really helped me improve my fighting skills and I'm much more stronger than before. Right now I am almost a black belt and all the hard work was worth it. I love Tri Star Taekwondo! It is really fun!! I would recommend this awesome place to other people.

My daughter, Emma, has been a member of Tri Star for a number of years. She started out as a white belt (first belt) and is now a 3rd Dan Black Belt. My son was also a member of Tri Star. He started out as white belt and obtained his 1st Dan Black Belt. Although my son is no longer a member at Tri Star, his experience at Tri Star has assisted him in becoming a respectful young man, a respectful and dedicated athlete and team leader. Over the years, Tri Star has produced numerous Provincial, National and International Medalists, including a bronze at the Junior Worlds in 2014. Tri Star provides an excellent foundation for athletes who want to compete at a higher level. The club and the instructors also provide an excellent recreational program for sparring and poomsae (patterns). My children and I have always found the club to be a warm and welcoming environment.

I joined Tri Star Taekwondo because my friend recommended it to me. Once I started i got super fun for me you get a great workout and you learn perseverance and self-confidence and you make lots of friends and compared to hockey and soccer you do it everyday and you learn ways to defend yourself. I recommend it to you because it is awesome

Our daughter started at Tri Star when she was 4 years old with the little dragons program. She is now 8 and Tri Star is like a second family to her. The instructors are so patient and dedicated. They challenge the kids physically and mentally and in return the kids gain a great sense of confidence. She continues to amaze us with her marital arts skills and ability to perform and compete. We have Tri Star to thank for so many proud parent moments!

I have just recently begun training at Tri Star Taekwondo. Having a history of Taekwondo training, I was looking for a family friendly place that would be welcoming, respectful of my previous experience and would provide training true to the art of Taekwondo. So far, Tri Star has fit the bill. I look forward to continuing my training with them in pursuit of my black belt and beyond.
