Extreme rude and unprofessional. although our door was fixed properly and quickly they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Everyone in the building could hear the employee making fun of how great it is to "fix stupid peoples mistakes". I will never use these people again unless I absolutely need to.

I have not had work done by this company and never will because of some very rude and unprofessional young male employees. If you want cocky people who will block your driveway and refuse to move for you...then flip you off and call you names all while they chain smoke cigarettes on your property and talk on their phones about the women they picked up on tinder and sent home in cabs right after they slept with them ...their doing this on the dollar your paying them to actually work and get a job done ....then hire them. They sit and chill more then they work and are completely unprofessional and as for that I will never consider or recommend this company to anyone. It does not seem that the company will even apologize for their companies employee behaviour and just brush it under the carpet but reading previous reviews that’s nothing new they won’t try to resolve things until years later.

Great business to deal with. I have been working with General Door since 2015 and they have always stood behind their products and provided great advice to help me choose the right garage door for my house. Last time I called I needed a spring replaced and they came on site the very same day with a flat rate and no hidden charges. Definitely recommend this company to anyone.

I hired General Door Services in February of 2014 to complete repairs to a overhead bay door. Our bill was over $1100.00 dollars and inc. new cables, hinges, shafts, plates and side drum. The door stopped working in its entirety yesterday and when I called them to explain the problem (same one as last time) they hid behind a one year workmanship warranty that had "expired" 2 months ago. If the new problem was unrelated to the repairs done last year that I would happily pay for them to fix it. but I expected if the required repairs were related to the work we hade done 14 months ago any decent company would stand behind their work. I was told that under no circumstance would the possibility even be considered. The service coordinator I spoke with on the phone was rude, impatient and unhelpful. I will be calling a new company with more integrity to come fix the door this time around.Unless they change their warranty policy, I would not recommend this company to anyone under any circumstance.
