I am writing to say thank you and specifically mention the work performed by your installer â€œTommyâ€ and sales person Michelle Hein. I donâ€™t usually write these types of messages but I was very impressed today and your employees deserve the recognition. Tommy did an exceptional job installing my new garage door. He was on time (early actually) polite, professional, personable and efficient. He was very respectful of the area he was installing the door, did not ding any walls, and was very clean and tidy. He had an easy going attitude and was courteous and patient as I asked a number of questions. His experience and expertise was evident. In a time when many tradespeople take â€œshort cutsâ€, which create future problems, and lack pride in their work it is nice to know there are experienced craftsman like Tommy who have exceptional work ethic and attention to doing it â€œright.â€ I would also like to point out the assistance of Michelle Hein. She was very helpful from my first contact with your company and was quick to answer any questions I had and get additional quotes. Michelle was polite, professional and courteous on the phone and in her e-mail correspondence. She kept me updated of the manufacturing timeline of our custom garage door and installation scheduling. You are fortunate to have them working for you. Please pass on my thanks to Tommy and Michelle for their efforts. I will have no hesitation to refer people to your company. When I called, Michelle Hein asked what the problem was exactly. I explained to her, and she said it most like was the photo eye problem. She said you could fix it by yourself and would not have to paid for service. Then she sent me the instruction for adjusting the photo eye by email. I followed and fixed the problem. She is exceptional good.

Island Overhead Doors is the best company around to service and repair doors on Vancouver Island. I have used them before and I can say I wouldn't call or use anyone else. The customer service is excellent and the workmanship with "Jason" is the best. I had him come in today to fix a large wooden door as one of the compression springs broke. He was in and out in an hour and when he left the door was fully repaired, all adjusted, setup and working properly., and the cost was very reasonable. I couldn't have done the work myself for what he charged to do the job. He was punctual, cordial and called ahead of time. I am very happy with Island Overhead Doors and if I need any more door repairs or work done I will call them. I won't call anyone else and I will recommend to all my friends to call this company should they have any door problems. Thanks again Island Overhead Doors.
