We have used Modern for many projects over the years and continue to be impressed by the quality, but mostly for the exceptional customer service. They are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we are happy!! Even when we made a mistake on a door direction they without anyany questions asked, suggested it get fixed and they took care of it without any additional cost to us. It is for things like this that will always ensure our loyalty to them in Powell River!

Bait and switch - Big full page ad promise to match big box store prices on deck railings. Then overquoted by 50%, said their product was much higher quality (it wasn’t). Then charged me over $100 for 2 wall brackets that retail for $15 at HD. When I questioned the price, the staff laughed and said “Don’t like it? Then go shop at HD.” I haven’t been back and never will be. We’ve spent over $50k elsewhere on renovations since then.

We had all of our windows to our house replaced with thermal windows ten years ago and Modern did a great job. They still look great. We decided to have Modern replace our aging front door this year and we are glad we did. Great products. Super installers.
