Automotive parts was able to find brake pads for my car. Unfortunately they were unable to find the right rotors and sent me away with front ones. Took those back and went to Napa in Winnipeg and got what I needed.

If you try calling automotive..they'll never answer. Leave a message! What's the point..they don't call you back. You can ask for help in the hunting sporting section..but you can wait up to a half hour to get that help. And end up with someone who can't answer your questions. I've been shopping at this Canadian Tire for 25 years and in the last 2 years its gone down hill customer service wise.

Helpful staff but difficult to find for certain departments when the store is busy.

Automotive department seriously needs to be trained (or re-trained) on how customer service works. I was told that when work was done on the car, they would call to confirm. They never do. They said they would call when my new summer tires would be in (had to order them first). Never did. Waited two weeks, and had to call the store myself (IF you can even get them to ANSWER) and was told that the tires were in for a week - and that they couldn't get a hold of me. They had the correct number, and after pressing further - they continued to lie about calling me. There was no record whatsoever on my phone to confirm. After that was all said and done, I thought the worst was over. Incorrect. I had them install my new summer tires onto the car, and once again they said - "we will call when it's done". Again, I waited. Waited some more. And then eventually I called them myself about an hour and a half before closing - to ask what the status was. "You can come by and pick it up now". I asked why they didn't call like they said they would. This time, they didn't have an excuse. Unacceptable, but understandable if it's busy. I go in to pick up the car, choose to pay by credit. Everything goes smoothly from there. Or so I thought. As I'm walking out the doors, I realize that the numbers seemed off on my invoice. $433 for service on a Dodge Grand Caravan. It's the incorrect invoice, and definitely not my vehicle. After realizing this, I went back to get it corrected. The amount I was charged is significantly less than my ACTUAL invoice. $433
