“When In doubt, tell the truth” – Mark Twain I am a truth seeker, I see bad reviews online and like to contact the company involved to get their side of the story and then post it for them. If you are looking for the truth, or at least the companies side, look no further! Dear Robert Robby, After calling the company and asking what happened with this situation and customer, I was given a much different story. To start, the sections that were ordered with the wrong size holes was a MANUFACTURERS mistake, not Superior. Superior was on the phone with the manufacturer numerous times to try to get the section to arrive correctly. Apparently there was some issue in production. When this customer called to “voice their frustration” I was told that was her yelling and cursing at the office staff, I’m not surprised the office “tone” was not professional – who likes being yelled at? I was also told that after this woman repeatedly called and harassed the office staff she was told in no uncertain terms that no one at Superior wanted to deal with her and to have her husband call in. Once her husband called everything was fine, arrangements were made to have the correct (not the first panel they tried to previously give to the customers, that was in fact wrong and therefore unusable) installed. When the installer (who by the way is not that young, and regardless of age is quite experienced at his job) went out to meet with the husband (who did not need to take any time off work, and had been previously advised of this) had no issues with the installation of the new section and was told by the customer that they were happy with how it looked. Since then, I have been told this customer has not called in at all to let anyone know at Superior that there is still an issue. I should also mention that the customer was told not to pay until the correct section was installed. Needless to say I think this customer owes the company an apology!

Buyer beware....my husband and I moved into our new home last year. We noticed one garage door panel was bent and called this company to replace it. That was in early October of 2016. We are now well into march 2017 and have yet to have our PAID for panel. When I called to voice my fustration i was shocked with the ill mannered front desk personal. Her tone and unprofessional attitude to me and my situation was so terrible I could not believe it. That's when we received the first panel. That had the wrong size windows holes. We were then told he would order us another panel three weeks later we again received the wrong window holes. We were again waiting well over a month before my husband had to Call to find out when we were getting our new panel. A few more weeks went by and we were called... it was in. Happy to hear we took time off work again to have it put in and AGAIN Wrong window holes. At this point my husband and I say there is no way they can mess up again and we wait another month and a half to have them call us again to say it is in. They then send in a young man over to install the panel for my husband (who again took another day off work) my husband then noticed it was actually the very first panel that they previously tried to give us. The young man then put our windows back in our panel and screwed it in so tight he cracked the window and didn't even tell us. We noticed it after he left. This is so disappointing, money doesn't grow on trees and this company has taken advantage of a young couple that were so excited to enjoy their home. Needless to say, we are still waiting for our panel and an apology!

The reason I rated Superior Garage doors with a 3 is not because they did not do a great job on our installing of a new door, and not because a representative came out and helped us with a colour selection, but because we are still waiting as of October 2013 for someone to come out and replace the capping on the side of the garage itself. Last October we were told we would have it done by Christmas. Then when we phone a couple of times before then and once after, it was we will do it next week, or in a couple of weeks. Okay after the 4th time we let it go for a few weeks as it has been cold. Then my Husband called up in February and they said they would be there on the 19th of February. Well surprise...no visit yet. Then the best part is when he called back again two weeks ago, the woman there told him that they never give a date or day of the week when doing these jobs......lie because my husband told them that we would not be here then and she said that is fine. That phone call brought on ...."we will be out next week" (wk of March 10th to 14th).....guess what no show yet again. SO, needless to say we are getting rather frustrated, and would either like our 400 dollars with interest returned or the job done this week March 17th - 21st..... You know, a phone call or two would have been polite to tell us that you are busy and with a reason why you have avoided us all this time.
