Disappointed

Customer service inexperienced. Doesn't understand how to communicate job requirements to the company technician. Unprepared to do the job. Very disappointed ☹️

The workers (Sean and Mike) were at our home bright and early on the date promised (Friday, September 21, 2018). They quickly surveyed what they had to do and got to work quickly. They were very friendly, precise, knowledgeable and detailed in what they were doing. Once they were done, they ensured that they cleaned and tidied up the area they worked in. They also wiped down the garage doors after they were done and made sure that we checked the doors to ensure that they were fine before they left. We could not have asked for two more wonderful guys to install our Garaga doors which we are thoroughly enjoying. We are also having wonderful comments from people in our neighbourhood on our doors. Great job and well done. We could not have chosen a better company to have our doors done. Joe & Bernadette

Wouldn't recommend this company. Initially they seemed professional when we met with Jennifer 8 months ago. At that time we didn't wish to proceed with the installation. However, recently we decided we were going to go ahead with the new garage doors. We had asked Jennifer if she would honor the original quote and she said she would, she even did some "finagling" and was able to present a better deal. She sent us the invoice including capping which was $3749 including taxes. I had asked her if I paid cash could she cover the taxes and she said no problem. So I paid an $1100 deposit. Simple mathematics reflects $3749 less 13% taxes equals $3261.63. Therefore, the new invoice amount should have been $3261.63 (this reflects the taxes removed as the company agreed to cover). If you deduct my deposit of $1100 it leaves a balance owing of $2161.63. Well, this is where it went shady! The company said that despite the invoice detailing $3749 including taxes, they had already taken the taxes off and my balance owing would actually be $2649, (the $3749 including taxes- $1100). They attributed the wording on their invoice of "taxes included" to their software and said that's how it had to be entered. Yet 8 moths ago they sent me 2 other quotes detailing totals and next to those totals stated "taxes not included". The expectation if I proceeded with either of those quotes at that time would have been to pay the total detailed on the invoice plus 13% because the invoice stated "taxes not included"- which makes sense. However, for Autograph Door Systems, the same logic doesn't apply in this case! We would have been willing to pay the $3749 without any discounts. It's simply principle; we were told they were going to cover the tax and then they tried to deceive us into paying more with pathetic excuses.

Extremely Disappointed!! Called to get quote and Jennifer came out immediately and provided me with a variety of options for my garage door replacement. 1). Replace door only 2) Door and capping and 3) Door, capping and topping (above door). I was advised that choosing Option 3 would be best choice as all colours will match. I decided to go with replacing everything to be consistent, put down $500 deposit and order was booked. This is when things went off the rails. I specifically asked to be advised of installation date so I can have my dog out of the house. The actual door was replaced on the arranged date (Wednesday), but no capping or topping. I phoned immediately to ask about the rest of the job and was told they only install on Monday and Wednesday, but couldn't tell me which date he would come back but guaranteed it would be done by August 22, 2018 (the following Wednesday). One week later (Thursday) they came back and did the capping then told me that they ran out of material and would have to come back to finish the top. I was so frustrated and stressed my frustration only to be told that he’d come back Friday to finish job. (Remember that he only installs on Monday and Wednesday?). When I came home from work, I was sooooo disappointed because the colour, pattern and material didn’t match and was told if I want the same aluminum material as the door, it was going to cost me another $150. It’s not just about the additional money, it’s that I was upsold so everything would be consistent colour to end up with inconsistent colour and pattern. My advice is.......Go with a larger Company that have resources to honour their word and end product.

My garage door needed repairs and I was able to get fast service. For the service I thought I required, Joe told me the he would do an inspection first to try and save me some money. I appreciated that! In the end his service was quick, efficient and professional. I will need new garage doors in the near future and I will definitely be using Autograph Door Systems.

Great job by the team @ Autograph Door Systems. Our sales rep was Jennifer - she was fantastic. Provided sound information and suggestions. Jennifer worked with us to get the right product for our needs and our budget. She did not attempt to over sell us in anyway. Samantha - coordinated our installation. She was great. Loved her ability to communicate in a friendly, professional and prompt manner. Unfortunately, I don't recall the names of both installers - they were great. They were fast, efficient and cleaned up really well after they were done. We had what we now know was a minor concern regarding our door. It turns out that the issue was not our new door but the door opener which was already there (not brand new). Samantha had someone come by right away to take a look and reassure us that everything was fine. I also don't know the name of the person that came by to do the capping around the door - he was quick and did a great job. That really topped off the overall look of the door. Overall, I'm happy to write this review for Autograph and support my local business. I met with 3 different companies regarding our garage door project and Autograph was by far the best one. Hopefully, this door lasts us for a "lifetime" but if I had purchase another garage door I would call them first. Thank you!
