I hate to leave bad reviews but my experience here was nothing but shady. I called on a Monday to get a quote or estimate for changing out some bushings, ball joints and sway links, told that they wanted to check it out first and that they had an available time Wednesday and made an appointment Wednesday for 1pm. Wednesday comes and I'm there for my appointed time. No records or appointment scheduled for me and they were completely booked that day. I was on a lunch break for this appointment and was left with no choice but to leave my vehicle there so they can check it out. 10 minutes before they close they call me saying that one of my brake caliper is the cause of my problems. It is very possible since that i recently replace both my rear calipers, but that wasn't the issue that I wanted to work on, they said that all of the above things I wanted done were in good shape and didn't need replacing. I disagreed knowing my vehicle with over 230000 miles running on those original parts and that I had a failed attempt to replace my own sway links. I was working when they called and agreed to them replacing that caliper. They quoted me $160 for the part plus labor. They told me it will be done by 9am the next day, noting that they called me 10 minutes before closing. So now I don't have a car and needed a coworker to give me a ride. Sleeping on the decision I couldn't justify paying $160 for a caliper knowing very well that calipers for my car only cost $60 and having done recently my self, not even a oem Honda caliper cost that much. I was sure to call them before and right at 8am to catch them to cancel the work. I was told that the work has already been completed, so that would have meant they stayed overtime to work on my car. After a bit of a heated discussion I was told they would put back my original caliper and take my car back. I was able to leave immediately, I live on Dawson St which is only a few minutes from the shop and sure as well my original caliper was still on my car while they had then brake line disconnected which they put back on along with my tire which only took a few mintues. I don't know if it is humanly possible to change out a caliper, brakes and bleed the line in under ten mintues, very suspicious. I never got a quote or estimate for the work that I wanted done. It's a real shame, I was willing to spend a lot of money for that work to be done since I am unable to do it myself. Please explore your options, I would not recommend this shop and I'm very disappointed with the outcome of events.

I am in a occupation that keeps me on the road. On my way into Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan my car started showing signs of an upcoming issue. I was directed to Mike's Garage by the local Autozone (also a great business). This was all happening during a light snow storm which seems to make auto service centers extremely busy. I explained to them that I was passing through and they were gracious enough to fit me in. They were able to take care of my issue promptly and for an extremely reasonable amount. This is a small garage and the Mike the owner was involved in all things happening to make sure that everything was done properly. Their attention to detail is something to be admired and I really appreciated it.

I called him while I was on the road and got to his business just before closing and he still helped me out. I would definitely recommend this garage.
