Worst experience ever! Beware. Made a deal on a used 2015 Yukon in March, waited till May 02 for delivery because the vehicle needed some body work and a “new” compressor for the suspension which was supposedly on back order (found out later that they installed a used compressor). The Yukon was sold as a “GM certified used” vehicle which apparently goes through a rigorous 150 point inspection before it can be sold as certified pre owned, but when the vehicle was delivered the check engine light was on, the vehicle had a really bad antifreeze smell, collision sensors weren’t working and the vehicle itself was filthy, in the 6 weeks we waited I guess they never thought to clean it!?!?. The next day we also found out that when it rains the windshield leaks water all over the centre console. Called the salesman we had dealt with to tell him about the problems and that we made an appointment at the local GM dealership to have it looked at, he tells me that they would pay for the windshield repair and that I should disconnect the battery overnight before I take it in so that the computer resets and clears the check engine light and any codes that might be in there. That seemed a little shady to me so didn’t do it. The Yukon was at the local dealer for the day and they found that the rad had a split and needed to be replaced, there was a leak in a high pressure fuel line and fuel pump needed to be replaced and one of the sensors for the collision alert also needed replacing. The work was covered under the certified pre owned warranty which was great but when the dealership went to do the Ontario safety they found $3985 worth of repairs that need to be done before it would pass and we could drive it. Contacted Garage Tardif and they won’t help us, they say that the local dealership is just mad that we didn’t buy the vehicle from them. Contacted GM Canada who have been basically giving us the run around (they call us every 2 days to tell us that they’re still waiting to hear back from the district manager) and now don’t know what to do. It has been 2 months now since we took delivery and we're no closer to being able to drive the Yukon, we have made 6 payments on a vehicle we can’t drive so sits in the driveway and have been forced to pay for a rental vehicle this whole time so we can get around. This will be my first and last GM vehicle ever, just be very careful when dealing with this dealership.
