Winmar was out to our place on April 9 th to extract 4 1/2" of water from out total basement, family room. 2 bdrms, onsuite bathroom and workshop with an additional storage room. When the extraction truck was full, they did not return to finish extracting all of the water from the onsuite bdrm carpet, which was still very vey wet. I had to phone our Winmar protect mgr to get them to return to finish the extraction. Only once have they sent out a fellow to check for the dryness of walls and floors, carpets...that was a week ago today. To date, not a soul has shown up despite my many many calls to Winmar and msgs left for the project mgr handling our restoration to contact me. She was away from the office during Easter long weekend and still has not contacted me as of today, Wed. April 24th. All the heaters and dehumidifier are still running. The next step of the restoration is to open up the lower half of all drywall and remove the wet wall insulation, which the fellow last Wed. advised it must be done as the sulation will not dry due to the plastic vapor barrier over to of same. They also have to check for any mold that may have resulted. I have contacted my insurance backup adjustor to please get a hold I'd Winmar to get things moving, as our insur. adjustor (located in Vanc. headquarters...we are in West Kelowna) handling our claim, is also out of the office...until May 1st. 1 Star rating is for personnel & project mbrs to Winmar Restoration company only, not for any of their contractors of whom they hire for drywall in, muddling, painting etc.

So pleased with the professional assistance from Janessa Brown, Project Manager at Winmar. Her team of trades from removal to install of our floors due to water damage, seemed effortless. Janessa made herself available at any time to answer our questions. Her knowledge left us feeling comfortable about the entire process. Good job to Janessa for managing a terrific team of professionals!
