Apt flooded back in January and our insurance hired them to take our items out . Staff was always polite and professional during the whole process of packin our things and placing in a storage locker for the 3 months it took for ous to find a new place to live. In March when everything came back that's when problems started happening. They showed up 6 hours late and only with half the stuff and said they would no be able to come with the rest till after the weekend after I took off work to be there to meet them, saying it would have to be an addiontial fee. And when the rest showed up none one had cleaned our sofa as agreed and that took a few extra days, and then a few weeks later the sofa was cleaned and the legs put back on. I could never get staff to talk to each other so when they came back to do unfinished tasks they never showed up with the proper tools and would just leave saying they would be back later... which would turn in to one or two days. I got a lot of apologies but no real action. On top of that things came back broken and I either had to repair my self or just toss out. Some items came back coated in mud and when I asked for them to be cleaned they were just half hearty wiped down with a damp cloth. Also I had some expensive electronics checked and they said they were damaged, well I had them returned and tested and it all worked and had no internal water damage. I am writing this review now months later became I just now am going through the last of things and my wife's art table, which they dismantled, is in horrible condition will not stand up straight and important parts of it are missing. Kind and professional staff but they do no care about your things once they have your money

I had water damage due to a burst pipe in my basement, and my insurance company called in Paul Davis. Jodi and her team worked efficiently and swiftly to minimize the damage, and the restoration afterward was a masterpiece of excellent workmanship and frequent communication. I always knew what was happening, what the next steps were, and when to expect workers over. What an unexpectedly pleasant experience this has been. I will note, though, that the project manager can make or break the experience. My partner had a flood that PD dealt with, and over a year later, the PM (Dan) is still jerking him around and has been obstinate and supremely uncommunicative.

Paul Davis Gatineau-Ottawa is unreliable and dishonest. They over-charge for services and will leave you "up in the air" if a more lucrative opportunity comes their way. Beware.

We had a House fire November 18, 2017. Our insurance used Paul Davis as the restoration company. We never heard of PDS before, but glad they came onboard. Within hours after fire department had deemed our home safe to enter, Paul Davis was on site , boarding up our roof, and making sure to keep all the elements out from doing further damage. Our home was a complete GUT job top to bottom. Paul Davis during the entire process, kept us informed, answered all emails and texts in a very timely manner. We never felt out of the loop or being taken advantage of. Even after we moved back into our house in April , PDS has come by on a few occasions to do TOUCH UPS "this is normal after a rebuild" . The fact they didn't forget about us or write us off , I believe, shows the true integrity of PDS of Ottawa. We are back home now and all is good. Ty Darren, Mike, Dave and all the crew involved throughout the 5 months. 5 and a half stars for sure Peever family. Stittsville Ontario

Our apartment flooded while we were out of town due to a freak toilet accident. While I believe we are happy with how well they dried out the location, it's 6+ weeks later and things are not settled. We were told they would take are of cleaning and moving our stuff (packed up by them) back into the house. The cleaning didn't happen at all and there's a thick layer of really really fine dirt and dust on everything. Had we known they weren't going to clean, I would've gone in and cleaned myself while the place was empty but instead we've been forced to move everything in boxes from one spot to another in an attempt to clean before we unpack. Unpacking is another story. Mislabeled boxes, ruined and broken items abound. The seams between floors in the rooms haven't been done yet. The flooring isn't sealed around the bath tub. The floors weren't cut to size for the cold air returns so the vents are sitting on top of the flooring. The base of the cabinets still aren't in place. I'm not sure if all of this was truly Paul Davis or if it was subcontracted however, we were told they were taking care of it. Not happy.
