Having a fire or flood in your house sucks! But, once it has happened, you need help. The people at Paul Davis were super. Mr. Ken Spetz gets a special mention for going the extra distance to make sure our basement got put back together correctly.

Was involved with Madge Roofing to perform an insurance job on my roof - claim Nov 2012 - most expensive roofing job I have ever been involved in. Paul Davis may not have done the actual repairs however were not willing to help correct the roofing issues after the fact - couldn't even get return phone calls. May 2017 I contacted them concerning multiple concerns on my roof and was quickly advised that this was not their problem & everybody walked away from it. I had contractors identify the concerns & my insurance company also sent in contractors to perform the inspections. Every contractor involved stated the same, poor workmanship (so much for the 10 year guarantee) - there was no roof rot replaced at the time of the initial job, multiple installation errors e.g. cut through both layers of shingles on the dormer etc. As of 1-week ago the roof has now been repaired properly - guess you don't need long shingle warranty if you get this type of workmanship. I suggest you get references, don't just take who your insurance company suggests - this has taken me a year with limited help from insurance & nothing from Paul Davis or Madge Roofing who created the issue. Nobody should have to replace shingles less than 6 years from the original installation date. Ken from Paul Davis did contact me to discuss this issue & wasted more of my time, had a representative there from Madge, they spent most of their time pointing fingers at each other rather than dealing with the problem, after many discussions Ken offered me $2,000.00 against the 11,000 for the new roof which I refused - think he thought is was a cash grab. Madge on the other hand lived up to their reputation and offered nothing including an apology - To date nobody has apologized or admitted to the poor workmanship provided however they both wrote very nice responses. In my opinion if you bring a sub-contractor on site you are responsible for the work that is done - you can't just take the money and run.

We had substantial hail damage to our roof during a summer storm. Our insurance adjuster put us in touch with Paul Davis Restoration for the inspection and subsequent repair. We were really happy with the work that was done, and how quickly the work was completed.

There was absolutely NOTHING good about this company They have a complete lack of knowledge. The have no problems with asking vendors to hike prices on you. I would think that would equate to price collusion. Ken Spetz actually threatened to physically assault me. By far the worst company I have ever dealt with.
