I have had an incredible experience working with the lawyers and assistants at this office. Every one of the staff members is kind and really makes you feel like they care and want to help. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a lawyer.

I was with very happy with my lawyer Katharine and the way she had conducted my case. The results were far better than I initially had anticipated. At first it was a slow start and I was uncertain about how everything would play out amongst the almost 3 year case I had as this was my first and hopefully last case. In the end however I did see how hard she had worked into getting me a fair settlement and it was worth the wait. I felt comfortable with her and as though my situation was being properly taken care of.

Honestly not the best experience. I was promised in the beginning two years ago that I would be able to contact Chris directly if I needed answers or an update. I only was able to speak with him once in two years and that’s after speaking with a bunch of people to set that appointment. And it was a phone call appointment. 2 years later, I was notified of one offer and it was the biggest low ball. I am working hard to get better but I don’t feel like they worked enough to make my case heard. My file got transferred from one person to another, had new handlers at least twice. I had to be the one that reach out consistently to get an answer or an update. I didn’t feel like I got the respect to be called with an update, and if I call they wouldn’t bother calling back, they would email you after nagging them about one question. I didn’t feel like I was respected or my case mattered, Honestly would not recommend it to anyone . I wish a better experience for anyone else. I decided to switch lawyers. So if you are not signed up, don’t do it. Your case will not get the attention it needs and you will not be communicated with the way you should be. Maybe Chris handled cases better back in the days, thus the better reviews. But now... I don’t think it will do you any good choosing this company to handle your case

I was referred to Bungay Law Office Vancouver location in Yaletown by a co-worker who himself had positive dealings with the firm. 3 years ago in 2016 I was rear ended on my way to work and at that time I wasn't sure of going to a lawyer as I didn't want to rock the boat. At the same time, I wasn't sure how or what to expect with ICBC as I haven't been in a car accident for ages. Long story short, I am so glad that I did go to meet Chris Bungay. He took my statement with the details of the accident and was empathetic. He had kind eyes and a gentle demeanor and put me to ease. He explained how the case would unfold and what to expect in the coming months. A team was assigned to me and Katharine Hennebery was my lawyer along with her paralegal assistants - Vanessa Vizzi, Christine Woolfries and later, Maham Suhail. Katharine and her team kept in close contact with me throughout the coming months. They took the time to explain things to me in simple terms and were prompt in responding to my questions. They would check up on my progress and the many various forms, documents, appointments etc. needed were explained to me carefully. Physiotherapy, massage therapy and chiropractor sessions are offered without having to pay upfront as an option. I even received birthday and Christmas cards from the firm which made me feel less alone as the case went on from months to years. I also received a thank you card and a token of appreciation when I referred another co-worker to the firm after her accident. The scariest was the discovery meeting with ICBC's lawyer but Katharine, who I met for the first time, calmed me. Her casual, open and friendly ways were quite refreshing and I felt reassured; I felt I was able to answer all the difficult questions without being too stressed. I was able to breathe and focus on questions and carefully weigh my answers as each word is recorded. Katharine worked very hard to battle for me and win me a very good settlement which was higher than I expected. She even took the time to negotiate with Pacific Blue Cross for me just after my case was closed for a smaller reimbursement for monies I owed for therapy. Katharine was my knight in shining armor and I am deeply grateful and thankful for her dedication to my case. I don't know what I would have done without her help and support all through my case. I definitely recommend this firm and believe that when you are going through pain and discomfort, you will want someone good to rely on and be on your side to bat for you.

I have come to know Chris through my sister. He is an amazing person and listens to the details. He is aware of challenges when dealing with ICBC when it comes to a court case and dispute involving an accident. Him and his staff member Ryan provided amazing service to help me settle my case with ICBC and when it came to a point i was unable to get any further movement in terms of the payment i was able to settle the claim with their assistance. The one challenge i was faced in my case was with my doctor. My doctor did not want to involve him self with my ICBC case so he ignored what i was telling him and kept stating I dod something wrong. In the first meeting with chris he understood that my doctor did not want to be involved so Chris referred me to another doctor whom was able to create a strong case for me. Eventually after two years of Physotheraphy and active rehabilitation i was able to recover. Chris and his team are a great group whom are there to help settle any claims with ICBC. I thank them for their efforts and guidance in providing the best advice.
