Getting a hold of anyone to get answers regarding my claim was near impossible. Knowing my situation at the time of settlement, David had his assistant give me my papers to sign quickly instead of sitting with me and counseling me on the lifelong choice I was making. Considering the amount of commission he was getting, him reviewing hiw I was structuring my final structured settlement and showing me the faults in my choices would have been helpful before I signed the papers. I suffered from PTSD, was on narcotic medication and was in shock from a personal life event and in no way should have been making life changing decisions on my own. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in commission and they didn't take 5 minutes to say "Hey, I think how you are doing this is wrong and screwing yourself over...let's just go over what you need day to day and see how we can fix this." As my legal representative is that not their job?

We just visited the lawyer's office, David Hollingsworth, Ottawa PersonaI Injury Lawyers, and collected my retroactive disability insurance payment. It has been 14 months since I was last paid and I now have the letter and cheque to prove that I have been reinstated and approved for long term disability. Such a relief!
