They failed to win my claim and made it impossible to be able to use another lawyers service. Simply I advise not to use their service as they wasted my time, failed the claim and made me unable to get help from another solicitor. Christine Tallon who worked for this firm has now left, Possibly because she failed all the other claims. Such an inadequate service.

Excellent service. Kiran Daurka was clear in her advice and always available to help. Happy to recommend

Leigh Day are close to my home so I called on my way past to see if I could arrange to speak to a solicitor about a potential case. There's the glass entrance door. I push, I pull. I try the other glass door. No joy. I hear a tinny voice. It's the receptionist who is two feet away on the other side of the glass. She's speaking through the entryphone. I tug again, hopefully, you know how you do when you can't hear what they're saying, but you imagine it's 'just a moment, I'll let you in.' Still no joy. I pay closer attention to the sound, which is like trying to understand an important announcement from the guard on a train, and it's saying (politely) something on the lines of 'what do you want?'. Not being used to talking via a bad speakerphone to someone one step away, I say 'If you let me in I can tell you.' I have to bend right down to a low level metal grille to hear and talk - good thing I'm not here about a bad back - and it turns out that I can't be let in because I don't have an appointment. 'That's why I am here', I say, 'to make an appointment.' Now locked in the bent-over position, lips and ears alternately up against the metal grille, dignity beginning to drop off in pieces onto the pavement, I see the receptionist's lips move, and the disembodied voice from several miles away tells me that I have to phone to speak to a solicitor, to make an appointment, to come back, to be let in. Slowly I scoop up the scattered remains of my dignity and back away, still bowing, partly because I feel that is what Leigh Day would expect of me, and partly because I do now have a back problem. I make the call. Just as an experiment, you understand - because at this point there is no way on god's earth I am going to introduce business to Leigh Day - I ring their number. A very happy lady answers and when I tell her I would like to make an appointment to speak to a solicitor, she goes away for a long time - long enough for me to straighten up with the aid of a nearby tree trunk - and then tells me, 'that line is going to voicemail' (which you have to admit is impersonal even for voicemail). Anyway, long story short, OK not so short, I ran my own legal practice not ten minutes away for 40 or so years, and I cannot imagine I would ever have such a silly and contemptuous system in place as making people press their faces up against the glass door and shout for appointments. I probably shouldn't have mentioned being a solicitor because you are now thinking, 'of course, she hurriedly hit the lock button when she saw you coming'. But, no, I think it is for everyone. That's us people, by the way. Perhaps, I am reading too much into first impressions. Perhaps the care and service would be exemplary. But a door shut in your face is a hard first impression to overcome. I think I am going to look for a firm with a nice 'welcome' doormat.

avoid, avoid, avoid! I felt extremely judged and was not taken serious.

Agreed to help me then ignored all further communication. Why say you can help if you can't ? Unprofessional and unreliable.
