Rebecca Nelson was a beacon of hope to my family at a time when our options appeared limited and the likelihood of a satisfactory resolution seemed impossible. Not only was she able to provide efficient representation, her calm and empathetic demeanour offered us support when we most needed it! Very untrustworthy and unreliable. They lost our bank drafts and almost ruined everything for us. Their main goal is to protect themselves and not their clients. At the hardest time, they left us alone. They were representing us for the purchase of our new home. We met with Mr. Azevedo 5 days before closing, and signed everything and handed over the bank drafts for the downpayment of the house. He told us clearly that he has everything and will let us know as soon as the deal is closed (nothing else to do from our side). About 24hrs before the closing, his assistant emailed me and asked for the bank drafts. Although we gave them to the lawyer they were saying they do not have it. So they lost the drafts. When I asked them what should we do? His only response was â€œI donâ€™t know, I have not been in this situation beforeâ€. No legal support, no legal advice. Nothing. All he was saying was that I donâ€™t have the drafts and I donâ€™t know what to do. His only solution (after 9hrs since he told us he has not the drafts) was to get a temporary loan from another lawyer with 8% interest rate + legal fees, while the banks were reissuing our drafts. Stay away. If it wasnâ€™t for our own efforts, we would have lost the house because of their unreliability. They are very untrustworthy with your life saving and if things go wrong, they leave you alone to deal with it. Will never go back.
