The admission woman for the dental hygiene program (Tina Pittman) was absolutely terrible to work with. She was so rude unprofessional and always was quick to rush me off the phone. Having someone as the face of your school and the ONLY person you can reach out to for more Information on the program, advice getting into the program and etc being so hostile really puts a sour taste in your mouth. I tried hard to look past her bitterness but this being my first introduction to the school experience and then reading some other reviews and seeing people discuss this same woman made me realize that if this is how it is initially what these people are saying has to be true. She’s truly money focused and makes me think they only let people in this school who’s parents have a lot of money based off of the extremely personal questions she would ask. Instead of giving the student advice on how to plan for finances IF accepted she immediately jumps into questions like “well how much do your parents make” and literally made me feel like I shouldn’t apply here if I don’t have a unlimited amount of money. Overall due to the lack of support INITIALLY and the really bad experience with admissions I will be applying elsewhere! MAKE YOUR DECISION WISELY BECAUSE THIS IS ABOUT YOUR FUTURE!!!

I have graduated from this collage back in 2019 it was very professional. However, I called to make recommendations for my friend and spoke to the admission coordinator for hygiene program "Tina" and she was very disrespectful and unprofessional. She did not let me speak and didn't give me the information I wanted and she hangup on me while I was talking. I also saw many comment that people are complaining about her; this collage needs to look/review the situation.

As a newly graduated student from CADH, I can honestly say this school values money way more than students. Not money that they put into the school, but money they keep for themselves. Equipment is constantly broken, the clinic is dirty with bugs all of the time (see pictures) and classroom sizes are way too small. THEY ALSO CONSTANTLY LOSE CLIENTS CHARTS. CHARTS WITH PERSONAL INFORMATION. ADDRESSES, PHONE NUMBERS, MEDICAL CONDITIONS. They waived fees for clients during covid just to increase the fees after the waived period so they could make back the money they lost. They just wanted to make their money back. They’re extremely money hungry. They have a classroom in the basement that they do not disclose and do not show during the tour of the school. This classroom has no AC, no windows and students are crammed in the small room together. On multiple occasions one student got sick and a group of students in the class would also get sick due to the lack of air flow and the fact we basically had to sit shoulder to shoulder. Further, the school very much so IS BIASED. On multiple occasions I have EXPERIENCED AND WITNESSED multiple students being favoured and given clients to pass while the school lets the others fail. They pick and choose who to pass and who to fail based off of personal preferences for them, not for success of students. The problem with current students writing reviews is that’s it’s NOT authentic feedback. The fear of writing honest reviews that may be negative would result in the student most likely getting into some type of trouble at school. This school attempted to make students pay $75 for gloves (see picture) when the glove brand sells it for $50 on their website. The school also forces students to buy scrubs (they aren’t included in the tuition for some reason. Scrubs should be included in the tuition at a health care school) and only allowed students to buy them from the school. Faculty members are also NEVER coordinated on policies and rules. Some faculty say different things than others, and students end up being blamed for it every single time. Especially in clinic, some faculty members will tell us to do things one way and we get yelled at in front of our clients by the next faculty that comes in. The school is also very unprofessional. They never respond to emails and leave students confused and stressed. Which again, students get blamed for. The financial manager went on vacation for a week after we graduated when she knows that graduating students have fees to sort out. What kind of school allows the financial manager to go on vacation during a time like that? They sent MULTIPLE emails hassling students about payments and we had to wait for her to return so we could actually pay it. They preach professionalism to the students but show 0 professionalism themselves. I didn’t have a single good experience at this school. They will fail students in one level and will fail the same amount or more in the level below just so there’s room for the upper students they failed. Do yourself a favour and apply to George Brown or Toronto Auxiliaries. CADH is a prison and I would never recommend this school to anyone. The majority of the reviews of the hygiene program are negative, and it’s negative for a reason because it’s true.

The two star is solely based on the interaction I have had with the admission staff. Cannot speak to the lectures or contents.
