By grade 4 in public school my grandson was fast becoming a very poor student due to too big of classes and no one really cared enough to help him. Grade 5 till 8 he went to Alive Montessori and Julia and her team managed to completely sort him out and get him brought up to speed and beyond his age for studying and doing English and many of the subjects. It was a complete miracle and we can't say enough about this school and the teachers there who care so much. In addition because it is a smaller school and not a gigantic Public School, the children become very close friends and are like family with each other and take care of each other which is a really wonderful thing to see in a school program. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants their children to have a special education where they come out shining

My daughter enrolled at Alive Montessori for only a year now and what a beautiful young lady she has blossomed into. All credit is first due to the most kindhearted, compassionate and caring principal, Julia Simon. My daughter has not only found that she is talentend in the performing arts but she has developed a love for playing the piano. All credit due to her presence at Alive Montessori. As an educator myself, I give credit to the awesome work being done at this institution. You will not have any regrets sending your child to a school that also serves as a home away from home. Alive Montessori is truly alive in Toronto !!. Thanks Ms Julia !

My daughter goes to this school, and has been going since she was 2 1/2 she is now 5 1/2. Julia offers a safe environment and really shows a love and admiration for all children and genuine interest in their success . My daughters vocabulary is vast and and I am very happy with the results of her being there. She adores Julia, and that speaks very loud to me as a parent. I would highly recommend this school. Not only do I have peace of mind that my daughter is well taken care of, she is actually getting an education that is of value. A good education is very important and this is what Julia offers.

I am looking for a word that can describe how happy we are with our experience in Alive Montessori school! my 5 year old son joined the school in the he middle of the year but it was like he has been there for years! He loved going there and he didn't want to say goodbye at the end of the day! he liked the classroom, the children and most importantly he loved his teacher, Mrs Julia Simon! What an Amazing teacher and human being, very knowledgeable, caring and loving towards all the children! She really knows how to get the best out of each child, my son blossomed in the happy, nurturing and caring environment mrs Julia and her staff created in this school! Sending you love and our best wishes to continue your wonderful job in serving the children, much love

Anyone who has met the Principal, Julia Simon, will know how dedicated and caring she is to the children under her charge. The school routinely gets children off to an incredibly fast start to their education; it is commonplace (and expected) that 4 and 5 year old children are able to read. Because they are having so much fun at school, I have seen many instances where children do not want to go home when their parents come to pick them up! Alive Montessori consistently gets superlative results because their highly dedicated and caring teachers use proper teaching methods to make learning fun.
