Amazing school and teachers especially the Principles are always there to help you. The school offers excellent homework system and keep parents connected all the time. My son started Al Madina in grade 2 and he is in grade 9 now. I wish they open senior high school also so that kids can benefit with that too. I am glad and happy to be part of Almadina ,the journey throughout these years is amazing. Keep up the good work. Grade 9 Parent

1st of all, if Almadina takes this review down, I will repost it, this is not a threat but a message to the parents and I genuinely want to make sure that kids get better education somewhere else. Now thats out of the way we can start, the teachers, honestly at this school, every year is a gamble. Your child could get good grades because they got a good teacher or get bad grades because they get the most horrible teacher. If your child gets bad grades and they blame it on the teacher, I would believe them. In other schools, they would most likely be lying but in this school I would not be surprised if it was true. Now, bias, bias at this school is some of the worst I have seen, EVER. Race and gender, if you are black at this school be prepared to get harassed. If your a girl, welcome to heaven, thats just how it is, you expect equality and the teachers preach about it like it is a second religion but in the end I would say most teachers prefer girls over boys (Miss Aslam). Now I know for sure some of you are going to be thinking, boys do behave worse than girls, this is you being biased too, the stereotype is boys are stupid, trouble makers, you get the point. No, it is just the stereotype that makes you think "Im a boy, must mean I have to make trouble" and in all honesty its equal trouble between the genders at this8 school but the bias makes it seem that girls are perfect angels. Ditching class? Yeah, it happens at every school, what do other schools do? The smart choice put smoke detectors in the washrooms to prevent kids from vaping and cover them with a metal chain or mesh of some kind to keep it from getting stolen. What does this school do? Limit us to using the washroom only 8 times a month. Almadina, honestly? I use the washroom 8 times a week and I still don't ditch. Sad that you could not think of an actual solution. You do know people still vape, how? They walk out of the class. It is that simple, who is stopping students from just walking out of class and vaping? No one. Walls have holes in them, pipes are bent and rusting and surely a fresh coat of paint will hide it all. Too bad for almadina some of their students have a brain. On the topic, why do the special kids HAVE to be in regular classes, they should have their own class and a qualified teacher for that class. I actually think Almadina has a reason for this, they cant hire qualified teachers. I'm not saying that you guys have teachers without teaching degrees, I'm saying half your teachers would just rather scream at a class for no reason. Torturing students for no reason, I mean as long as we are on the topic, let's talk about uniforms. Green shirt, and black pants. They gave us the absolute worst color choices for us being in Canada. With how hot it gets in the summer we get deep fried, as well 50 DOLLARS for a black hoodie with their garbage logo on it. You want to know whats even worse? Parents who can not afford a 50 dollar hoodie or green shirt get a regular plain hoodie or shirt and sew the logo on from a past ripped or used up uniform. Then the school shames them and says they either get a uniform or wear a crusty, sweat smelling, god awful looking uniform from a plastic bag because the vice principal has an addiction with collecting sweaty uniforms and putting them on kids to be annoying, it's working, you are very annoying. The pants, oh those are not that bad right? Before you say that remember we are talking about almadina, according to out school we need to wear black DRESS pants, what even are those? No one in the school cares but it really gets annoying when a teacher keeps annoying you because your black pants are not "pants". For gods sake almadina, it covers my knees and reaches my ankles, is worn on my waist and is black, ITS JUST PANTS. Hopefully parents found this review helpful, if you want a positive of almadina I would say atleast we do not have lgbtq etc etc kids at our school. If almadina reads this these are honest issues that need fixing, and I hope you fix them in the coming years.

Let me start off by saying I am a citizen of Canada, I have the right to speak without fear, this school is the Epitome of depression, stress, and sexism. The teachers assign extra work, class work, and homework here, and it is due in a short period of time. The teachers won’t act or anything when there is a fight right in front of them, me and my friend witnessed 3 teachers in the East watch a fight go on for 30 seconds and not do anything. Teachers will most likely act or yell when there’s a kid thats chewing a gum, or pulling their phone out to check the time. The teachers 9 times out of 10will let the girls go to the bathroom but not the boys (unless it is a male teacher) it isn’t fair, like boys and girls should have the right to excrete freely. I don’t like the idea of phones being kept in lockers, as my phone has almost been stolen multiple times, there is nothing bad about it being kept in your pocket, so I don’t know what’s the problem. That’s all I had to say but in this school Equality is basically a fantasy and we’re kind of living in a meritocracy environment. -Azlan Khan

My kid was locked in the schools basement because he talked in class and died of hunger. The teachers said "Never talk in class again" He still haunts the school.

This school is the worst school ever. There is so much bullying and drama and the drama makes it hard for the students to pay attention in class. The teachers are really bias. Never put your children in this school honestly.
