I absolutely despise going here. I’m in grade 9, about to leave, and the whole time I’ve been here, my experience was HORRIBLE. The students who would bully, wouldn’t have anything done to them to change behaviour! Personally I don’t care about them trying to bully me anymore because to be honest, their attempts are more funny that mean, but it’s almost as if they are ENCOURAGED TO BULLY! my entire time here, teachers have turned a blind eye to them because “oh their athletic on our sports teams! They could never do anything wrong!” Yes they can. Another thing, I was told our school didn’t have enough money to pay for a grad trip for the grade 9s. (Consistent with last year because the grade nines didn’t get a solo field trip either, they were taken on a jr high wide field trip.) but imagine my shock when I hear about the SPAIN AND FRANCE EUROPE TRIP TAKING PLACE NEXT YEAR IN SPRING BREAK. I am a band student, and we had a trip this and last year where we got to go to a summer camp location and just hang out for 2 days at said camp and just have fun while playing our instruments! (Tysm Mrs E, you’re one of the few teachers in this school that was understanding and actually cared about stuff like bullying!) and we had to fundraise most of that ourselves. But imagine my absolute shock when I was told they can afford to pay for 30 STUDENTS TO GO TO EUROPE RIGHT AFTER I LEAVE.That money alone could’ve payed for so much things that would’ve been better?? I might just be salty because I cannot attend, but a consistant has been here for years that the school doesn’t care about the grade 9s. They may think they do but they really don’t. They just tell us “lol get ready for Highschool your gonna die there” (not actually) and then kinda just leave us on our own. This school in general is just a horrible place to be. Going here genuinely makes me hate myself because I attend such a school. I’m glad to be leaving.

uring my 10 years at this school, bullying was rarely addressed in a way that made a real impact, and students often felt unsupported. I believe this needs to change for the well-being of everyone here.

The staff does absolutely NOTHING about bullying and they couldn't care less about a students well being. The staff are manipulative, overbearing and have no respect what so ever towards students. They have looked through my private messages multiple times without my parents permission! I only started here in grade 5 and couldn't imagine what the kids who completed all k-9 in this specific school are going through right now. Fix your staff Florence Hallock.

This school promotes nothing but bullying. I went here and so does my brother. I left with terrible mental health issues that still affect my everyday 2 years after graduating. And my 10 year old brother is developing them. The staff does absolutely NOTHING about bullying and they couldn't care less about a students well being. The staff are manipulative, overbearing and have no respect what so ever towards students. They have looked through my private messages multiple times without my parents permission!
