Great school, passionate teachers. Yes, my child gets lots of homework but that's what we want. Some of my coworkers spend same amount of money on other private schools and their kids get no homework. You want your children to be challenged even after school right? UMS students and teams consistently win academic awards and competitions. That's what we care about.

The school isn't really a private school. The owner sucks our money and makes us pay about $17,000 and spends the money on her god damn cottage. When you get to grade 7 (I Graduated already) you just get assignments and you don't actually work. There are only a couple of good teachers here.

Not sure why the person by the name of Jo Bright left you a positive feedback and left 1 star for my school, along with nearly a dozen other private schools. I highly doubt this person attended all those schools as they surely did not attend ours. I urge you to remove the negative reviews from all the private schools that you have done that to. Although I appreciate the response, I still find this odd.

My child's UMS Grade 1 teacher is a University grad with an Ontario teaching certificate. Not all private schools hire these types of teachers so advise you ask this and other questions. We chose UMS for the quality of the educators plus it is VERY academic oriented, with huge focus on Science and Technology (awesome science lab). They also seem to do a lot of charity work.

My kids attended for grades 5-8. Loved this school, its teachers and programs. Highly recommend
