One of the best educators in Toronto is Ann Dimoff - Principal KMS

Have known Ann since the mid 90's, she is perhaps one of the best educators in Toronto, with the ability to hire and retain top quality staff. Both our kids went to Ann's school at Midland and Sheppard and then transferred over to Kennedy Montessori School. The ideal balance of good education, self learning, outdoor activities and most importantly the weekly ski days in winters were the hallmark, that we recall after 25 years. With Ann's education philosophy, it's not just about academics, it's the overall learning, self confidence and above all ethical and good values.

Fantastic school with great teachers. The whole school is designed to help children develop a healthy personality and mindset so they can love to learn and progress instead of "forcing" them to accumulate information. Anne Dimoff is the principal and they also have another school at Agincourt which is another excellent school using the same teaching concepts.

My two children are currently attending Kennedy Montessori. One for 5 years and one for the past 3 years. They are doing well academically and they are happy. Most importantly, they are becoming good citizens. We are happy with the quality of education!

We researched several Montessori schools before sending our son to Kennedy Montessori. At Kennedy Montessori, the dedication and commitment to educational excellence, starts from the top with Mme Dimoff and trickles down. The staff is enthusiastic and very good at what they do. Besides having an enriched curriculum, it is a welcoming and culturally diverse environment, where everybody knows your name. Our son loves going to school and in less than a year has progressed in leaps and bounds.

We chose Kennedy Montessori School for our child because of a friend's recommendation, but it turned out to be such a disappointment. My neighbour's daughter goes to a regular kindergarten class in a public school and she's learning much more than my child learned there! Generally speaking, the staff at Kennedy Montessori school is nice enough, but the principal doesn't seem to care much about academics. In fact, another friend whose two children both went to this school told us that the previous teacher in the elementary room left because her teaching philosophy was not in line with Mme Dimoff, who's both the principal and the owner. We heard that the quality of teaching and learning has been deteriorating there. We would not recommend this school to anyone.
