What can I say...Great school ,knowledgeable teacher ,comfortable class size and realistic lab training .My diploma not only gave me a path to continued employment but also added meaning to my life. Best school choice for PSW diploma in my opinion. Thank you NSHC

Niagara School of Healthcare! My experience at The Niagara School of Healthcare was extremely positive! It was the very best PSW program I have ever experienced! Their teachers are all Nurses, Heads of Nursing & Nursing Directors. I went & researched so many schools before I made my decision to attend the Niagara School of Healthcare! Having a science degree from Waterloo university, as soon as I walked into the Niagara school of health care I was impressed with the people that work there & their Lab was the biggest & best medical lab that I have ever seen. Their Lab had 5 real hospital beds, life-size patient manakins, stethoscopes, an Emergency Room, hospital blankets, hospital gowns, hospital trays as well as hospital diagnostics including Hoyer lift‘s which are used extensively in long-term care. In addition, we went on field trips, & the school arranged to have nurses, PSW’s come in to give us unprecedented insight into the rules and responsibilities of a PSW career. This was done to ensure no surprises when we got out into the real world! At the Niagara school of healthcare, you were not just a number as is seen in many other schools. You are treated with the upmost dignity, respect and if you should need extra help, there is always someone there to help you with any additional educational support that you may need . In class, if someone needed extra help, the Instructors were always there to help and support them in any way they could. The Instructors made certain that you understood the material and would stay with you until you did! How nice is that? This is wonderful because if you are in a larger class, one can be often overlooked.The classes were insightful, educational and engaging! The Niagara School of Healthcare is an exceptional educational school! In my opinion, it is the very best school you can attend .... All of the Niagara School of Healthcare students all found a job as soon as they graduated! Some of us were even offered a position while still attending school..What I mean by this is that when we graduated, we knew we had a job once we received our certificate and final grades! This speaks volumes as to the respect that hospitals and nursing homes have for this school. Yes, this school takes pride in making sure that you have all the necessary knowledge, skills and tools to be successful! In addition, I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that bettered me in many ways, & prepared me to be an exceptional Health Care Team member as a PSW! From the instructors, business managers and every one else working there were among some of the nicest, most helpful, kind and intelligent people I have met. The classes are simply amazing as they are smaller, much more intimate & engaging in every way and on every level! If you are looking to be successful as a PSW and want to find a good job quickly, look no further! Another thing that impressed me was that if you called the school, even after hours, you would always get a real person to talk to. The Instructors are there fo you 24 hours a day. By this I mean, they give you their contact information so even if you had questions after school was over, including the weekends, you will always be able to reach them! This is truly amazing! W we were completing our Community Practicum hours in Long Term Care as students, we were often asked by other students who did not attend the Niagara School of Healthcare how to use a lift, how to change a bed, etc. It was apparent to me that unfortunately they did not receive the same educational curriculum. The Niagara School of Healthcare takes pride in their educational curriculum as well as taking pride as to their reputation in this industry. The Niagara School of Healthcare was and is the very the best choice from all the schools that I researched.I could not have chosen a better school. I am incredibly grateful and so very proud that I chose to complete my PSW certification at the Niagara School of Healthcare! What a privilege and a positive experience this has been for me! It's a great school really responsive to all my questions I can't say enough positive things about it! They changed my life and gave me opportunities I never thought were possible. Thank you for all your support
