Worse school

One of the worst school seen in my lifetime. Who doesn't have values , don't follow basicI slamic etiquette. This school runs by so called Mufti Majid and their family. Specially so called mufti weal. They run the Scarborough Central mosque. My wife used to work there. They didn't pay her last month salary. They took lots of work when it comes to pay they say school doesn't have money to pay. Every time they have lots of excuses. They behave like professionals but they are zero. They don't respect teacher and unpaid less than minimum wages with no respect. I advice all teachers and parents not to join this school which is one of the worst school in terms of quality. They are all Imam of the mosque but all liars. Who don't keep their promises.

In the one week my son was there I don’t believe it’s a good school.

I don’t have a good review regards to the school because my son was only there for one week and every single day from the first day he started school there was complaints about him I didn’t understand that because he’s four years of age and the complaints is about him fighting with a Grad six boy, how is that even possible when The grade 6 must be provoking him for him to be reacting like that, and the grade 6 is bigger than him, my son has never gone to school he has been homeschooled he has never shown that type of behavior around his cousins or other children, but this year at the school they said he’s very aggressive he’s never been aggressive at home or anywhere else in that matter, it’s only been one week since school has re-opened and they have told me they cannot handle him that he should not be coming to the school,on Monday I got a phone call an hour after dropping him off that he was poking a Grade six student with a Marker, but they’re not saying what the boy is doing to him

My children have been studying for the last 4 years at Mariyah School. I signed up for the transportation service which they helped me at a very affordable cost Alhamdulillah I have had no issues so far. They have a great bright Gym that my kids love and a fantastic facility. This is the ONLY Islamic School which has a HUGE gym for the kids. My kids love this school and their staff are also great with kids. Thanks to all the teachers and management who are making great efforts to run the school. It is not easy with zero Government support and funding. I would highly recommend this school to others.

I'm a Muezzin here for Friday's but I often have a chance to interact with the students of MIS. They are truly well-mannered students with wisdom. I believe this to be enlarge due to the faculty leadership and teachers that spend time in taking care of the development of these young folks. I have no doubt in my mind that their students carry on to become exemplary figures of the Canadian mosaic and the world. Do not hesitate to enrol your children in this school program. They are only growing and are quite flexible in assisting people. You will encounter all ethnicities at this school and mosque-- a hallmark of a just and accepting environment where one can only thrive. Remember, Allah created us all differently so we may learn from each other, and one our duties is to seek knowledge. Enrol your children in this school, I'm sure you won't regret it insha'Allah. Fi' amaanAllah. -Br. Omair

Mashallah wonderful school with hardworking and patient staff. Very professional environment. And I am confident and reassured with my kids studying there.

From the moment we walked through the doors, it was evident that mariyah Islamic school values not only the academic growth of their students but also their character development. The staff and teachers go above and beyond to create a warm and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.

October 11, 2023. Please remove/fire the man who drives a grey van belonging to 'Mariyah Islamic School'. He was witnessed driving recklessly at the intersection of Eglinton and Markham while dropping off a child after school. I would not want my child to sit in that school van.
