I have made many meaningful relationships with my teachers here at blyth. Overall, it is a school that has given me a unique personalized educational experience and was the best choice for a high school student in my position.

I've been a student at Blyth Academy for less than a year. But in that time I've been able to easily adapt to a new school. That foes to show how welcoming and friendly both staff and students of the school are. Though the teaching system isn't conventional; with smaller classes and students being granted more liberty. If a student wants to make the most of the opportunity, Blyth is a great place to study. The smaller classes enable teachers to focus on different students individually, giving them the attention they need to do better in school. The extra liberty may be seen as a negative but I feel it could be a way to encourage students to take the initiative in their education. Though with its own faults, Blyth Academy is a good school.

Blyth Academy has changed our family and life for the better. Our son has dyslexia and dysgraphia and in the public system had been forgotten and on track for failure! Switching to Blyth has given him the chance to show his intelligence, abilities and personality in a welcoming environment. His experience at Blyth is opening doors which would never have been a possibility before. He will be applying to university and has become a confident and happy person that now enjoys school! Amazing change!

Beyond expectations

This school was nothing but amazing. The teachers and staffs involvement never went unnoticed. They leave no one behind. Our experience at Blyth surpassed all our expectations. Not only were the teachers and staff there for my child through 10-12 they were there for me as a parent as well. My child has graduated and still visits the school to say hello when he can. Thank you Blyth family.

I have been a student in Blyth Academy for Grade 10, 11 and 12. I had nothing but a positive experience here. I was the co-president of the student council and loved working with the teachers and students to promote events. The teachers have created an environment where students would generate intrinsic motivation to attend school every day. The environment in Blyth Academy is very calm and relaxing which has helped me focus and achieve the goals I needed.

My son has attended Blyth Academy since 6th grade (he is now in 10th grade). It has been a positive experience in an environment of small classes and caring enthusiastic teachers. Blyth London has always been open to accommodating the difficult schedule of a young competitive athlete.

Our son and daughter both attend Blyth Academy in London and really enjoy their experience there. Our daughter did NOT want to go there as she wanted to stay with her friends and go to our local high school. On her third day at Blyth she told us how much she loved it and thanked us for insisting she go and try it! They are both active in the Student Council, attend Model UN competitions and our daughter recently started a girls club to with the full support and assistance from Ms.Madigan, the Principal. The staff and leadership of the school could not be more supportive and every one of them exemplify what it means to be a teacher of young people. They treat each student as an individual and help in any way they can to foster each student’s success, be it academically or in their extracurricular activities. We cannot say enough about Blyth and the atmosphere that has been created for our children to thrive in. This school is definitely worth attending an open house and finding out more!

Highly inflated marks. Questionable ethics. Overall, will not prepare students for university. But if your child suffers from learning difficulties and doesn't plan to go to university, Blyth offers the flexibility and the academic support to help these students succeed at the secondary school level.
