The Dragon Academy has truly changed my life for the better. For most of my school experience, I always thought that I hated school. The tests, homework, and extensive studying. I thought that school was awful. My views drastically changed when my parents enrolled me at The Dragon Academy. This school is a place where I feel safe to express my thoughts and my opinions. The atmosphere is friendly and laid-back, it's a safe environment. The teachers have a way of making learning every subject exciting while being collaborative. As for the students, I have made so many good friends and there is absolutely no problematic drama. Overall, The Dragon Academy is a school where all the teachers and classmates are incredibly caring, learning is actually enjoyable, and I'm genuinely excited to go to school every morning.

The Dragon Academy is a phenomenal and incredible school. The staff is comprised of astonishingly passionate, brilliant mentors. The school fosters a supportive community of inspired students. The Dragon Academy prepares students for success in university and beyond through its use of seminar-based classes, which prioritize discussion and critical thought. The school ignited my passion for knowledge and education. I attended The University of Toronto after graduating from The Dragon Academy, along with many of my peers. I believe The Dragon Academy is the primary factor driving the immense success, which my fellow graduates and I have experienced. I consider Dr. Meg Fox, the founder and principle, to be my single greatest role model and teacher. No other educator or personal hero has contributed so greatly to my development as a scholar and as a human being. The gratitude I have for Dr. Meg Fox cannot be expressed through words. I would strongly encourage any parents of high school students to visit the school and experience what The Dragon Academy has to offer. The Dragon Academy will nurture your child’s curiosity while providing a superlative high school experience. My parents tell me they adore The Dragon Academy because they saw that I grew happier and more fulfilled each day. I truly believe the school dramatically increased the quality of my life.

As a student who currently attends The Dragon Academy, I can say this has been the best academic and personal experience of my life. The students are continuously taught exceptional material from professors and teachers with experience and extensive knowledge of the subject. It feels as if a curriculum is individually curated around the medium and topics students find interesting while being mixed with extremely fascinating material. The teachers are always going out of their way to make sure students are doing their best, understanding subjects, and doing anything the can to further their success. The environment is indescribable. We learn about writing in a class filled with famous literature and study history at the ROM with hands-on learning. I find myself working on assignments and reading books for school in my spare time and actually wanting to attend school the next day.

This school has changed my life. I am a student with adhd who never was able to control my energy. This school has taught me so much and changed my school experience forever. Many of the criticisms that have recently been posted are quite unfair and lacking a clear explanation. If you are looking for a place for someone who stands out and has potential this school will bring you to your maximum potential. The dragon academy has changed my life for the better.

Like many of the other students of Dragon Academy, I can't put my real name for fear of expulsion. Nothing is well organized at this school, and nothing is consistent, not even the name. To this day it remains unclear to everyone if the school is named "The Dragon Academy" or just "Dragon Academy". This school is plagued with horrible students. While Dragon used genuinely be a school for gifted kids that don't fit in, it has turned into a school that will accept anyone, regardless of how intelligent, effortful, or disruptive/dangerous a student is. A few examples: over my time at dragon, someone sold cocaine to another student and received a warning, nothing more. it was only when the student sold cocaine for the second time, were they kicked out. Another student through scissors at someone and the schools solution was to move him up a grade. This year, it came to my attention that the same student from the second example and one other, were smoking weed and coming to school high and drunk and were pressuring others to do the same. After conducting a bag search of the two student and finding a bong and a pipe, all that happened was an email home. The same student and a different one, were caught on a school trip to Québec with a bottle of vodka, and again were given a warning. Here's hoping that the new principal is better then Meg Fox.
