BIG ZERO I strongly suggest you avoid this college, once registered, they cancels or changes the date and place of the workshop and hold you responsible if you can't participate. Then they refuse any refund, even if no material has been sent. No answer despite several messages until I get a call (almost 6 month later) to tell me that if I want to follow this workshop I have to drive to Scarborough (more than 125km from where I live). So think twice, keep your money and go somewhere else

If you're looking for a fast paced, past tracked program, then Westervelt (formerly Medix) is the place for you. The staff are informative and have real working experience in this field, so the information they share with you is valuable. I have enrolled in the Medical Office Administration program and with less than 4 months left in the program, I have already learned a great deal to put me on a track for a new career. My background before I enrolled was general laborer - it was time for a change and I'm really glad I chose Westervelt College.

Disappointed with the education received. Pretty much self taught and the passion/excitement to succeed there and afterwards =dead.

Going back to school was the hardest decision I have made in a long time. Being a single mom taking care of two kids and going back to school was a very hard choice for me but the best thing I ever did. The teachers there are very helpful, understanding and supportive, they pushed me to work hard and to have more confidence in myself and my abilities. I originally planned to take the General Lab Assistant program. After a great amount of research I ended up taking the Medical Office Administrator program. It was a long road with a lot of studying and hard work but in the end I was glad I took the office program and graduated with honors. I now have a position at a great family doctor's office with some amazing opportunities ahead of me. The smiles from the babies and children and the 'thank you' from patients gives me an amazing feeling at the end of the day. Medix College in Kitchener is a great school with some great people and awesome teachers and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to change their LIFE for the better and who is looking for a career in the Medical field!

Thank you to all the staff at Medix for making this a memorable experience for me! I was looking for a career in the medical field, so I decided to try the Medical Office Administrator program. Medix was the third school I've seen, and as soon as I walked through the door, I knew this was the school for me. Starting with the front desk everybody did everything they could to help me in the enrollment process. I started the program excited but nervous at the same time, thinking of how will I do in school after 15 years of ....life. I'm happy to let you know I did very well and I enjoyed very much the program and the atmosphere at Medix: the staffs is always willing to help; I made friendships that lasted way after school was done and I am happy to say that Medix is an experience that changes your life! Now I am enjoying my new career and I would like to say thank you to the placement department for helping me with my placement, preparing me for the interview and being very helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. Enrolling in the Medical Office Administrator program at Medix was one of the best decisions I have ever made and I am proud to be able to call myself a Medix graduate!
