This is a hidden gem in the midtown Detroit neighborhood, open to the public, not just Henry Ford Hospital employees. My daughter is about to turn one and she has been going since she was three months old. She has absolutely thrived in this loving, nurturing, clean, safe and educational environment. The teachers are wonderful and communicate so well with the parents in meeting your personal needs for food, schedules and philosophy on how to raise your child. I walked into the classroom the other day (you can drop in any time) and the older infants were doing a science experiment with baking soda, vinegar and food coloring (the old volcano experiment). How cool is that?! It was carefully supervised, but they are always doing cool stuff like this: the sensory table full of miniature squashes and pumpkins and shredded paper, the bubble machine, reading stories, singing songs with Ms. Maria, taking a buggy ride outside (there is an adorable six seat buggy for the babies), the turtle pond full of balls, I could go on… This is a really special place. I'm so glad I found it. They also make life easy for parents by offering a breakfast, hot lunch and two snacks. They have great hours as well, from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. You simply can't beat it.

We LOVE HF Kids! I work at Henry Ford BUT the center is open to the greater community. We have been at HF Kids since 2010 and could not be happier with the care. My older daughter started there and as she was graduating her younger sister came along and is there now. This is a true gem of Detroit. The teachers are loving and care for the children as if they were their own. The facilities are clean and well-kept and I sincerely appreciate being able to leave my precious child at a facility that I feel she is safe at. My children have both thrived at HF Kids. My older daughter, who is now almost 7, still loves to come back and visit to see her old teachers. The educational curriculum is excellent. We could not be happier with the care our children have received at HF Kids!

I absolutely LOVE Henry Ford Kids! My son started there when he was just 6 weeks old and is now in Preschool. I am not sure who loves HF Kids more him or me! I work at the hospital and when I drop him off I know that he is well cared for by a professional and caring staff. I promise you that you love HF Kids as much as we do. Not only is it a loving and nurturing environment but clean and safe. The Outdoor play area is Outstanding. All the meals are healthy with lots of fresh fruits and veggies. And I their curriculum focus is AWESOME as well. How wonderful it to have an employer to recognize that their employees need a quality, safe, place to entrust their children and also support the community by opening the daycare up to families in the area as well. Way to GO Henry Ford Kids and Henry Ford.

They are now Bright Horizons at Midtown Detroit, open to the public. My 16 month old has been going there for almost a year now and he loves it so much! The director Caitlin is so helpful and responsive to parents, they take such good care of our kids and best of all, my son loves it so much!

A superb daycare center. My daughter attended from age 6-1/2 weeks until 5-1/2 years and my son is a current student, having started at age 9 weeks. The teachers are loving, considerate, creative, and are partners with the parents. The curriculum encourages independence (serving and feeding themselves), sharing, expressing themselves (both creatively and in conflict situations). The center is calming and the playground is clean and fun. I highly recommend this daycare.
