Our children are thriving here. School curriculum is enriched, and children learn French and English as first languages. They also learn Spanish. School provides all meals and snacks made on-site and there is a homework period everyday. They also offer extracurricular activities at the school so you don’t have to run around the city to bring your kids to activities. Highly recommend.

The most important decision any parent can make is find a school for their child that aligns with their vision and of an environment that is best suited for their child to thrive in, both academically and personally. In École Montessori de Montréal, I have found more than a school. I have found an extension of a home with values and morals that I want my children to be framed with while learning.A place where my children learn respect by being respected and where as a parent, I am a welcomed partner with the educators/ school in my children's academic journey. My children have been assisted by various pedagogical services outside of school. In fact, some of the most sought after specialists in and around the Montreal area. These specialists are always in awe of how École Montessori de Montréal is both receptive, communicative, open to collaboration with them. These specialists often tell me that they deal with children and parents from all privates schools in and around the Montreal area and they are quite impressed on how École Montessori de Montréal sets itself apart, by being so child/family centered. Meaning that they take to heart each child's needs and support them. In the various pedagogical services my children have tended to, I have received feedback from various specialists of how my children demonstrate acquired learning from strong academic principles. To me, this feedback is a testament of Montessori's quality of education. Sure, the curriculum at École Montessori de Montréal, is elevated. Each child is encouraged to to push themselves to their best potential. If our child experiences difficulties , the school administrators and educators are very devoted to accompany you in helping your child. The same goes if your child excels, the educators/ school are there to elevate your child to their maximum potential. The bar is set high by the school for providing excellence while attaining excellence from their pupils. As a parent trust is imperative in collaborating with the school for the ultimate benefit and success of your child. It may not be always easy to hear difficulties your child is experiencing however, the school is very genuine and caring in being your partner in accompanying your child. My children adore their school and they feel loved and cared for at school whether it is by their peers, educators or administrators. The educators and administrators go above and beyond to be available to each child and their family. The school has always been prompt to respond to any of my queries even after school hours for last minute questions or concerns. As a parent you are always welcome in and around the school grounds. Safety is always a priority and the school does a great job at being on task of knowing of all comings and goings in and around the school. All staff know each child personally as well as their families. Children know each other from all grades. It is a family/ a home atmosphere. As a parent, leaving my children at the doorstep of an institution where I know that they will be cared for like they would be as if it is an extension of my home is priceless. At École Montessori de Montréal children are made to develop a sense of belonging, authenticity , emotional intelligence and being all around good citizens of the world beyond their academic performance in the classroom. I am beyond grateful that my children have such a school to call their home away from home surrounded by such great role models.

Amazing school with amazing teachers. Every child can learn at their own pace, in their own way. The approach is tailored to each child. They foster independence, love for learning and approaching the world in a caring loving way. Thank you Montessori Lasalle !

If your child fits in their box, it can be a good learning environment. They certainly offer lessons in life skills. However, if your child does not fit in this box, the lessons in conformity come without love. Different learning styles are not taken into consideration. They are not adaptable to the children, they expect the children to conform to them. Multiple parents have expressed these opinions to me. Our child had some lovely teachers and there were some good moments. They tried to do what they could within the enforced boundaries of the school. Trust your instincts early on to determine if this school is the right fit for your child or not. Just as the child can absorb so much information and learn so much by the age of six, they can also remember the lack of a nurturing environment.

A great and positive environment for educators to fulfil their careers. Warm and welcoming! I can’t thank them enough for giving me the opportunity to thrive in an environment like this.
