From a former bullied student

I was a student there from 2005-2010. I had the worst experience there. I tried to get an old yearbook from the school and they haven't reached me yet.

This school is a representation of a concentration camp

I sent my son there some time ago and i was not impressed. Not for 10000$ i wasnt. The food there is repulsive. The staff are old crones who dont know anything about teaching. They yell like animals . Smells like fish at the entrance because of the fountain there. Your are better off shipping your child to a concentration camp for gods sake.

Just want to be clear that this is not an accredited school. It's a private company called Marie Laurier belonging to one person / family. This means that there is no auditing and supervision, which explains many complaints and lawsuits going on in this school now 2022. If you just landed in southshore, you may not have other choices. However, you are guaranteed to be disappointed from day 1. My kid went here 2017 and was abused and mishandled by uneducated staffs and teachers. I doubt that they don't even have proper degrees.

The high school is a joke. It’s waste of money and time. The student will lack a lot of knowledge since many subjects are skipped therefore they will be facing a lot of difficulties in college. I regret sending my son to this school and now he is suffering at the college. I do not recommend the high school, but I don’t know about the primary! Not a good management, no communication and no discipline. They never answer your questions clearly.

Pretty good school with a somewhat diverse student body. Parking can be a hassle especially during morning rush hour. It's preferable to go either before or after that crunch hour (usually between 800AM and 845AM). Cafeteria food leaves much to be desired. Daycare is pretty fabulous (Ms Brenda and Ms Mahela) minus the two odd teachers that I have heard with my own ears screaming at kids. You have to be conscious of the speed limit when approaching the school from the inner streets even though it sits on the highway but has to be accessed via a 40 kph street.

The price for the school is too high comparative with the education that it's offered. I do not recommend this school to anyone. My daughter doesn't learn anything, they change the teachers often, there is no order and discipline. The kids are fighting, the teacher don't supervise like they should the kids. I am very disappointed. I consider it a totally waste of money from our part as parents. My daughter had a better education from the public school. I am talking about the school from St-Hubert (rue Leckie)

We sent our 6 yr old to the Yopi camp that used this school facility first time this year. And we were very disappointed. First, during the daycare, we found the gym was old and super dark. (Almost like entering a cave) the lights there didnt turn ob properly. Later, We spoke to the person in charge at the camp. He said many parents did notice and brought the issue to him as well. He said there was nothing je could do, since they only rent the place. As a parent, I really think it was unacceptable. My little nephew who also attended to the camp got an incident with his eye at the gym. I believe the school really need some reno for theie Gym.
