Went for a hair cut this morning, and it was absolutely wonderful! A bit overpriced but it was a good haircut! I would recommend this salon to friends and family. The staff was super friendly and it didn’t take long at all!

I’ve been a loyal client for over 5 years. By far the best salon in the GTA. My 2 teenage boys are also clients and we all look forward to every visit. The staff is exceptional. Not only are the Hair Stylists talented and creative, the client service we receive is excellent. The environment is warm and friendly and everyone is always accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend The Wild Strawberry and would never consider going anywhere else.

Been a loyal customer for 2 years now I was happy with this salon up until my previous experience. Went to my usual stylist (Samantha) and asked for light brown with blonde at the bottom/midway I even provided a picture and what I received was a little bit of brown on the top and orangey-blonde all over. Not what I asked for at all. I was in shock when I finished and I wasn't sure how I felt about it so I left without saying anything thinking I would get used to it. Note that I have dark features (eyebrows, skintone etc.) so I felt as if going completely blonde did not quite match me and was not what I wanted. After thinking about it I realised that I need to go back because I truly did not like it and deserve to get what I asked for/paid for which by the way is not cheap and I'm a student ($320). I went back the next day went to the front desk and the stylist who did my hair was actually at the front with another lady. I asked them if they could change my hair because I didn't like it. My stylist was obviously embarrassed and gave me a look like I was in the wrong. They thankfully scheduled me for a fix with another stylist (Jenny). I showed the stylist what I originally wanted and tried her best to fix it by putting lowlites and toner. It still wasn't what I asked for but it was better than what I had before and I know this mess was not her fault so I do not blame her for anything. It's a nice colour but it does not match me and it is not what I asked for. I had felt very frustrated and expressed my frustration with them. They said I'm only allowed one free fix and if I want to fix anything else I would have to pay for it. I decided to just to stick with this colour for now because I feel like all this dye in my hair is way too damaging to my hair. I only dye my hair like once or twice a year and dying my hair twice in less than 24hrs made me feel like my hair was so brittle and dry especially now that it's blonde. I'm just not going to touch my hair for another year or so and let the colour grow out. That being said this salon is a good salon and everyone makes mistakes, my issue is when people do not own up to their mistakes and lie to cover up their mistakes by saying that I "wanted and asked" to go blonde. Choose you're stylist at this salon wisely and don't let a stylist get too comfortable with you're hair.
