Late post. My view in a word - disappointing. I went on May 17, 2019 but didn’t get around putting down feedback. Just got a promo email from them, so thought to write this. I went after a long spell of no haircuts, so my hair was ready for a transformation. I thought that for a well-reviewed, creative salon this would mean having a clean slate to come up with something unique. Instead I got what can only be called a trim, followed by a poor job of hair drying and styling. All of it cost me $75 minus the tip (which I gave because the hairdresser - can’t recall his name though - was sweet; had a lot of local recommendations because I’d just moved to Vaughan - but alas his hair cutting skills were not as good). I thought I paid quite a lot for what I got - which like I said was nothing more than just a trim and a quick blow-dry (the kind I can manage to do myself at home). Overall, after spending lot of time researching and checking reviews, in the end, I was disappointed with my experience here. Stars for conversation only.

A fellow "Pink" sister referred me to Frank for a cut and style my wig. Both my daughter and I were very emotional but Frank was very compassionate and sensitive to my needs, he says it's because his sister is a breast cancer survivor but I think it's also his nature as well. He shaved what hair I had left and took his time to discuss the cut and style of my wig, discussed what I could expect with the hair regrowth and how to care for my scalp in the meantime. I appreciated the sensitivity of his staff as well, very caring people. Looking forward to having hair again so Frank can style it

I have been coming to salon gaboa for almost two years now. All the staff is extremely welcoming and go out of their way to provide great customer service. I have been seeing Sandro since the beginning and his work never disappoints. Thank you for everything

I first met Daniel in 2014 when I came to Salon Gaboa, defeated, after many failed wedding hair style attempts else where. I have long, thick, wavy hair and wasn't sure that there was anyone out there with the know how to work with my hair. Enter Daniel. Immediately, his knowledge and expertise became clear, he knew not only how to style my hair, but how to layer, shape and cut it so that it looked flattering curly or straight. It is not only his experience and professionalism that I noticed, he is also very friendly and down to earth, he really put my fears at rest and has never failed to make me feel comfortable. In fact, everyone at Gaboa is very friendly, great staff. Every visit since that first one in 2014 has me feeling confident and satisfied. Suffice it to say, I have never left. Thank you, as always Daniel, you're the best!

Sandro has been my hairdresser for years. He was just starting in the field and he has come sooo far and I am very proud of him He is a true artist when it comes to colours, cuts, extensions and styling. He has won numerous awards and is extremely talented. I can say, "Sandro surprise me with my hair" and he never disappoints He knows exactly what my hair needs. He is patient and a great guy who goes beyond the call of duty to make sure all his clients leave happy. I'm blessed to have found a wonderful hairstylist in Sandro. I recommend him to anyone.
