Laura Farrell did the most amazing, awesome job of mixing colors in my curly white hair! I get tons of compliments every day. Someone said to me, “It makes me happy just to look at your hair!”

I have been going to Festoon for almost 2 years. I find the staff helpful and friendly. It feels like my home away from home. Molly cuts and colors my hair! She has changed my look and I often receive compliments on my hair since we started working together two years ago!

This place has excellent stylists. Prices are appropriate for the area, and there is a range. Customer service is the best!!

You can read this review if you have supper fine curly hair like I do. I booked an appointment with one of the less experienced hair stylists (she was $85 compared to more experienced stylists $160). But I am very picky about my hair and I tried to book it with the hair stylist with the most number of good reviews about deva cut on yelp. But a couple of hours before my appointment, I got a call that the hair stylist got sick and her next availability was two weeks later. So it was a bit unfortunate because I changed my trip day because of my appointment. So I told them that if as a customer I was sick and wanted to cancel it after 24 hours, I had to pay 50% of the fee and it's not fair for you to cancel either. But they were supper nice and offered me to get a deva cut with the owner, John with the same price and the same day($85). I went there and John was a supper nice guy and everyone there was supper nice as you can tell from reading other customer reviews. The service was really amazing. After a Deva cut, they always wash your hair and put deva products to form your curls. So it often looks okay when you leave. But the day later I noticed that there is a lot of volume at the bottom of my hair and I noticed that for a few days. So I called and asked if I can go and get the top part cut a bit (he told me I can't stop by and fix it anytime I want if I don't like it). So I went there and cut a bit from the top so it looked better. But I am still not happy with the cut and I feel it's really not even and there is a lot of volume in one part and less volume elsewhere. It's not a beautiful layer as I used to always get with my other Deva hair stylist. Don't get me wrong, I believe John is a great hair stylist with yearssss of experience. But I think he is just not good with Deva cuts because he doesn't get to do that as much as other hair stylist in the store (they offer better price and people obviously choose them). So I don't even bother going there for maintenance for the third time because I am not sure if it make a difference. I don't like writing bad reviews specially when people are so nice but I decided to write because anytime I look at the mirror, I am not happy with my haircut and I paid a lot for it.

WAY too overpriced, regardless. Nobody should pay $200+ for a partial highlight and trim on short natural blonde hair like mine. I was in total shock at check out, and barely left a tip. (should not have at all). I don't care that my hair looked great, it should and always has for FAR less. they also kep me waiting nearly half an hour after my appointment started. then Molly almost did not cut my hair because she was "double booked.". I wish she didn't cut my hair, as it would have been $70 less. It is ridiculous how much women believe they need to pay for a mere haircut or highlight.
