Interesting concept, newly decorated with tool boxes for supplies and looked clean and will probably be nice when it's done. It's down the street from Franklin school so not much parking out on the street as its in a residential neighborhood. The prices are elevated. Now every stylist charges what they want and I'm guessing they rent booth space. However $75 for a simple angled bob seems excessive to me. An up do for prom was the same price. Add a tip and you're near/at $100. Now similar up do cost only $60 from another stylist, but she had said she could do it based off photos then completely couldn't and I left dissatisfied and still had to pay full price and my hair was falling out of the pins from the moment we left. I fixed it as best I could at home before we left and was thankful it wasn't an important event for me. I guess I've had better for more detail and less cost elsewhere and won't be returning. Prices should be posted by each stylist somewhere so you know what you're in for.

Love this Salon. Salon 1500 is the best hair salon in Alameda or the Bay Area in my book and their prices are very good.

Juanita is fantastic. She has been doing my hair for many years and I never have a complaint. Flexible schedule and great prices.
