The best Hair Salon in SF downtown Financial District. Excellent service and superb skills by Allen. Must try! He can custom tailor any hairstyle to fit you.

I followed my hairstylist, Glenn here, and while I'll go wherever he goes, the salon has a wonderful, airy, and inviting atmosphere. It's in a great older building on the corner with floor to ceiling windows and fantastic light. There's a wonderful mixture of modern and vintage 70s styling that make it a comfortable place to relax. With respect to hair, I can't say enough great things about Glenn. He always knows exactly what to recommend and will always give you an honest opinion if he thinks something might not work. That in itself is invaluable to find in a stylist but more importantly, he has the SKILLS to back it up! I always look and feel fabulous. Way to go Allen and way to go Glenn.

Allen is the best! He knows what fits me the best and cuts in great details. Feeling great with my hair. Definitely the right place in Bay Area!

I just got my hair cut by Allen. Was walking through the Embarcadero center, and a man turned to me and said "Nice hair!" Made my day! Every cut I get at Allen Fu studio is awesome. Allen, I wish I could give you more stars!

The best. I've been going to Nikolai for over a year -- I followed him on his move over from Patrick Evans'. Not only is Nikolai fun to hangout with during the cut, he treats you royally throughout and makes sure each trim is accurate to a t; he treats your hair like a fine art project. With his accuracy comes time though, so you must be willing to schedule a longer than average appointment. I highly recommend his keratin treatments, his blowouts and his cuts/trims!
