Had great outcome from my first few appointments with Melissa Bowen. After my most recent visit, I called to request that my hair be redone to accommodate what I was looking for (lighter ends) and was charged for the re-do (almost 100% of what I paid for the original visit). I then had my next appointment cancelled without notice and was asked not to come back to the salon. Seems unprofessional and unrealistic that one miscommunication would make them want to lose a client. I was honest and polite in my feedback, and tip almost 50% of my total hair cost every visit. Buyer beware, if you're not quiet and happy, you'll be blacklisted.

Shari is the best colorist I've ever been to. She knows her chemistry and color and in one visit she knew exactly what my hair needed. And on top of that, she's so sweet and fun to chat with!

Kasey took my hair from ashy light brown to platinum in one appointment. She is a joy to be around and I actually had fun sitting in her chair for three hours, when I usually hate the sitting and waiting in a salon. I wasn't even sure what I wanted to do with my hair and she knew instinctively what would look good and what I wanted before I did! Will be visiting Kasey at Salotto again and again and again.

Superb! I have been getting my hair done at Salotto for years and nothing compares. The staff is professional and very well trained and always keeping up with the best products and techniques. I always feel amazing after my appointments. I drive from La Jolla any day to get my hair done at Salotto.

Bad service. No one knows how to answer the phone.
