Gabrielle is excellent! Listens, really cares, and is super talented

I moved to SF 6 years ago, and suffered through color disaster upon color disaster, coupled with cuts that just didn't flow a week later. And then I found Spoke and Weal. They make sure they get it right! I love Spoke and Weal. This intimate and cool Aveda boutique salon, has very personable and talented staff. I have been fortunate to have first hand experienced exemplary service from all the stylists. Melissa, the colorist that does my hair understand color balance, tone and how to create a natural look. Having been to this salon over 10 times for color and cuts, not just in San Francisco, but LA and NYC- I have watched their very cool clientele come in, have a transformation, and then leave happy and looking better- self included! I have finally found a salon that listens to what I ask for, and actually accomplishes it. I no longer have to fret about what my hair might look like after its washed or the scissors are set down. If you are looking for a salon, like I was, with products you can trust(AVEDA), expert stylists that produce the result you desired, and are on top and beyond trends- This is the spot!

Amazing salon! Not pretentious, all the team are lovely and Melanie is the best colourist I've ever had (that says a lot). She took me red/pink from a lifetime of perfect blonde and I LOVE it.
