On Friday 3/2, I asked for a long bob with bangs from Alex at Regis serramonte. After I got home and brushed it myself, I noticed the cut was extremely messed up. My long bob with bangs is a short bob in the back, then an abrupt transition to random length on the front. The hair that was cut isn't even--I combed out several sections at least 3/4" longer than the hair in the same section. It seriously looks like my little nephew grabbed the safety scissors and cut my hair overnight. I made an appointment this morning for tomorrow with Lena. I got a call at about 6:40 saying she cannot fix it, only a manager can. The woman who made the appointment said that managers AND "master stylists" can fix bad cuts. Both Alex and the manager are out of town until Saturday. I called Regis corporate at Lena's suggestion. He took my information, and district manager is to call within 24-48 hours. I don't think any of the $85 I spent will be refunded, and at this point I get to pay someone else to fix Regis' mistake because everyone is conveniently out of town. I explained to every single person that I have business travel on Thursday and cannot attend a conference with "I cut it myself because I'm an art student"-looking hair. Alex was over 30 minutes late for my original appointment too. Though it was booked same day, the person on the phone who took the appointment confirmed the time. 10-15 minutes is understandable. I wasted a lot of time, money, and about 18" of hair on this mistake that Regis refuses to accept responsibility for and fix. (I realize this is a straight copy/paste from my Yelp review, but I am a real person, and this cut was so bad that I'm upset enough to go to several different sites and put this Regis, the stylists there, and the lack of response from corporate out there for others to make informed decisions.)
