I requested that my hair be evened up to match my current side part and the layers be clean and not done by cutting into the hair. (This is where they take the scissors and point them into the hair). Well, Shawn used hard lines, but then pulled my hair up on top and cut straight across. This has now caused the hair on my right to be MUCH shorter than before and not even with the left. EXACTLY what I didn't want. I requested she start with the shortest length on the right and just go around the head on the bottom to even the rest of the hair. This was not done. Additionally, if you visit this stylist, you will be asked everything about your life except your blood type.

I was able to get in and have a hair appointment with very little notice after I missed my hometown stylist. I had the good fortune to work with Armando. He was very professional and did a fantastic job chopping off my shag and leaving me looking sharp and crisp. I will definitely be back. Great price and exceptional service, esp in the Peninsula market. Thanks Armando!

Ask for Angie!! She did an amazing job coloring my hair. Detail-oriented with my haircut. I got a ton of compliments on my hair! (She's friendly and nice too.)

I went into Onyx on suggestion from a friend that has been going there for awhile, they always raved about how their hair color always turned out great and looked extremely natural. So I decided to try it out... I hate my hair color now. I told my colorist that I wanted my hair to be a pretty chocolately brown with golden undertones WITH ABSOLUTELY NO RED! When I finished with my appointment, my hair was expresso dark brown with serious red coloring. I didn't even look like myself, and not in a good way. My colorist was super nice but did not listen and now I have to go get my hair fixed, at another salon.
