Language barrier made it hard to communicate. Didn't end up getting the cut I wanted so I asked for it to be more neat at which point she got frustrated that I wasn't satisfied and started forcefully mowing my hair. Ended up with way shorter hair than I wanted. Overall bad experience.

My husband loooved his haircut (and exceptional hairwash experience, haha), and he had been wary of Asian salons after a few bad experiences (his hair has a slight wave to it). He is now happy taking himself and our boys here for haircuts, which makes my life easier!

Great haircut and they do a wash and massage too. Avoid like the plague if you loathe physical contact and a good haircut experience.

My boyfriend has always gotten his monthly hair cut here, and I'm always very happy with it, so I decided to give it a try myself. I came in on a Saturday early afternoon for a trim on the ends, some thinning/layering, an undercut, and a full head dye (yes it's a lot). In total 2 ladies worked on my hair (not Nancy herself, but she was the one who gave me the hair consultation in the beginning). We started with the undercut, it looks great, amazing fade, I was happy. Then she briefly trimmed off some ends and said she will finish the rest after the hair dye. As for the hair dye, I was very specific about the colour (green ash brown), and Nancy showed me the sample hair colour and ensured that she can achieve the colour. 1.5 hours later, my colour was revealed, and it was more orange than anything else. It was not the intended colour at all, but I'm not too angry about it, because they did spend quite a bit of time on it, and I know my tough thick black hair...it's REALLY hard to get a different colour apart from this orangeish brown unless I bleach it. After a wash and blowdrying, the second lady worked on the layering, trimming, and thinning-out of my hair (I have ALOT of hair, even after the undercut, so I wanted it to be as breezy as possible). The final product, minus the colour, looked great! :) Nancy gave me a discount as well, original price was $150, but she only charged me $130! I don't think I got the massage though (my boyfriend always say it's his favourite part and lasts at least 10 minutes for him). Maybe not for colour, but I'll be back for the cut!
