I've been going here for about 15 years now. Very friendly, reliable, and professional staff. Parking is plentiful without problems. There's also a Spectrum wifi hotspot here if you have internet services through them. Good food choices nearby such as bangkok chef. And a convenient Walgreens next door.

Called in on a Sunday afternoon to save a spot in their line. When I arrived an hour later, they were pretty busy but since I called in I didn't have to wait much longer. Joy cut my hair here. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. Haircuts are a bit more expensive than I remember, but she cut it exactly as I had asked, so I'm pleased. I appreciated that the place was clean and there was always someone sweeping up the hair so I didn't have to walk through other people's hair clippings and such. The atmosphere was nice; people were friendly, music wasn't too loud, people were using inside voices. :P I give this place a solid 5 stars for the great haircut and awesome customer service I received. Make sure you call in an appointment or spot in their line so you don't have to wait as long to be seen! I highly recommend Joy for friendly conversation and a great haircut!

When getting a haircut, I always go in with a 50/50 state of mind: either it will be good or it will be bad. My interpretation of bad is I have to go home and touch up my lineup. I went to Supercuts expecting at least a decent high fade and left with what can only be described as a terrible hair cut. I ended up with someone who seemed unfamiliar with my hair type as she used many different guards and took a very long time before completion despite my very specific instructions, instructions I heard repeated by nearby customers who were in and out in no time. When she was finished, the fade wasn't much of one as there was a clear distintive line that circled my head. When I asked it to be fixed (my mistake here. I should've left), she made it to where one side was higher than the other. I was defeated by this point. She was appologetic, but if she truly was sorry she would be either asked someone else to cut my hair or refused payment. $20 for something I have to hide for a week until my hair grows back in and evens things out. I will not be going back there. Nice enough people, prolly would've had a better outcome with a different barber, but I refuse to take that chance.

To be honest... this is a Supercuts. I should've expected a slow, and fairly tacky haircut...

My son just got a haircut from Texas at the Nuuanu Supercuts. He explained how he wanted his hair to be trimmed. He wanted the the hair on the top of his head to be kept long with just a slight trim, but she cut 1 1/2 inches from the top. Don't your stylist listen to their client's request? HE IS UPSET!!! Were you listening to what he said, to how he wanted his hair to be cut? When we came in, you were running towards the check in counter like a chicken without a head. Maybe you should slow down and take a deep breath, then maybe you can hear what your clients want instead of just cutting their hair HOW YOU WANT IT TO BE CUT. We will not be coming back. After I wrote this, I called the store and spoke to the stylist and after going back and forth, she hung up on me. I called them back and spoke to the manager and she was very kind and listened to my concerns. She made me feel better about the situation.
