Been going to see Paul Brown for years (won't tell you how many). I always come out of the salon feeling fresh, stylish and at the top of my game. He knows all the latest trends (good and bad) and doesn't hesitate to give solid advice straight, at least when it comes to looking good. So you'll know what works for you and what doesn't. That's the kind of trust you need to have with the right professional.

I've been a customer for almost 20 years. Service has been at it's best. My hair stylist Davis does the best job with my Hawaiian hair and is trusted 100% of his decision every time I have a chance to see him for a wash and wear hair cut. I look forward to having my hair wash by all his students. Employees are friendly and Paul's products are the best, it's worth spending my money every chance I can.

I've always had a wonderful experience at the Paul Brown salon. I recommend you go there for haircuts, color, and for makeup and brow waxing. It's always good.

I got referred to Paul through a third party. I am actually pretty upset and was a tiny bit when it was 'styled'. The haircut wasn't inherently BAD, it just wasn't right for my hair. His dry cut is nothing like the Deva Curl curl by curl cut. I have 3 different textures in my hair, and said as much. Paul is a very nice guy, but I didn't feel he listened, at all. He kept asking me the same things over and over and seemed preoccupied. Now, I have super short curls in the front that I can't do anything but pin back, because if they get wind blown or just are out for the day, I have an afro (top), and there is a complete disconnect all around with weird lengths (not even layers). With 40+ years, he's probably seen a lot, but I can't say I will be going back for anymore 'curly cuts' anywhere in Hawaii. I would not recommend him for people with multiple curly textures in their hair.

The salon is impressive, professional, and friendly. it is a joy to go to it. Even more importantly to me, Paul Brown, whom I see, is the best hair expert that I have ever encountered, either here or on the Mainland. He is a genius in styling to best show his clients' beauty and strengths. Furthermore, he is a kind and generous person. I think that he is fabulous and give him and his salon my very highest recommendation!
