I came here to see Amber for a balyage. I love my hair, she does great work, I've been to her twice. The two stars is because she quotes one price then raises the price when you get to the register. It all started with a simple inquiry, not committing to anything. I asked her how much it would cost for a balyage, she quoted me $125 and I agreed. But when I got to the register, the receptionist charges me $150. I just wished Amber warned me, I would have no problem if she told me in advanced... I felt lied to. I went a second time, just letting go of the mishap in the first appointment. When I got to the register this time, she charges me an extra $25 of what I initially thought it would be. She didn't warn me or anything. I got to the register and the receptionist rings up $175. All in all, IF Amber had just told me before I got to the register that she was going to charge me extra I would have had no problem at all paying it. But she quotes one price then raises it when you're about to pay without any warning. She sneakily went behind my back and told the receptionist to charge me extra without any warning. It's all about the money I guess for her. While we were chatting she was complaining about how much parking she pays per day for work and how much she has to pay in taxes. It's all about the dollah dollah bill I guess... Sadly, I'll never go to her again. She does good work but I don't appreciate her business tactics in order to make an extra buck. Lack of honesty and integrity
