Be VERY careful with the date when booking your appointment. I accidentally made an appointment for the wrong day (a day before I meant to), which was completely my error. However, I wanted to give a heads up to anyone who may also make this mistake that there is no flexibility or opportunity to switch dates without the $20 cancellation fee. I have had positive experiences with Drybar in the past but did not bother re-booking for the correct date given that the cost would be increased by 50% with the cancellation fee. I will be looking for salons that are more flexible in the future!

If I could give absolutely no stars I would. BLACK WOMEN!! Do not let these people lie to you, trick you & scam you into destroying your hair and not giving you a refund. On the site it states they can curl extensions. I called several times to ensure they can curl my hair as an African American woman. They ENSURED ME THEY COULD! Upon arrival there are 2 black women in the shop but I’m passed off to a Hispanic male. He did an absolutely TERRIBLE job on my hair. My appointment was at 8am. By 9am there wasn’t a single curl in my hair. It’s been over 3 weeks of me attempting to get a refund. The staff on site and the customer service is TERRIBLE!!!! It’s going on a month and I still have NOT received a refund nor any help to the issue.

I love coming to this place. Everyone is friendly and my hair is always amazing. I get so many compliments on my hair whenever leave. Great place for natural hair girls. Products can be pricey, but it’s worth the investment. Keep up the good work!

I recently visited Drybar River North with my mom and sister for blowouts. When we arrived at drybar, most of the associates were not wearing masks. We are all fully vaccinated, but my mom has underlying medical conditions and requested that her stylist wear a mask. He made a face and said “I’m vaccinated.” My mom explained that she was as well, but felt uncomfortable. He then refused to do the service. My stylist then apologized and offered to get my mom another stylist. However, the attitude of my mom’s stylist was unacceptable. It is also extremely disrespectful that if a client asks someone to wear a mask, they don’t. It seems risky for the stylist not to wear masks given that they don’t know their customers’ vaccination status. While a vaccine prevents you from getting COVID, it does not prevent you from spreading it. Given that cases are surging with the delta variant, it seems more important to prioritize safety. It seems absurd that someone would have such disrespect for they safety of a client who is paying them for a service. I’m a physician and know it is hard to wear a mask when you are working all day. And while all my colleagues are vaccinated, we all still wear masks at work to protect the safety of our patients. The behavior at this place was unacceptable. For some context, we were getting blowouts for my brother in law’s wedding. Like many others, we have had a long and difficult year. As a physician, I’ve had to work in very difficult situations and had to make many sacrifices . My brother in law has had to reschedule his wedding twice because of COVID. Furthermore, my father in law passed away in December. So, this was a very important day for us. It’s disappointing that we had to worry about our safety on a day like this.
